  • Publication number: 20050286919
Abstract: Following the end of warm-up, a control unit confirms whether the warm-up time is 10 seconds or more. If the warm-up time is 10 seconds or more, the control unit controls a maximum lamp turn-on time for alternate turn-on at 1.0 second as long as an idle time (t) from the end of warm-up is less than two minutes. When the idle time exceeds two minutes, the control unit controls the maximum lamp turn-on time for alternate turn-on at 2.5 seconds.

  • Publication number: 20050214012
Abstract: At least, a temperature of the surface of a heating roller 13 in a region through which paper of small width passes, and a temperature of the surface of a heating roller 13 in a region through which paper of small width does not pass where paper of large width is carried are detected. Warming up operation is continued, and when a temperature of the surface of a heating roller 13 in the either region reaches a temperature capable of fixing, a ready display is lighted. Thereafter, the surface of the heating roller 13 not having reached a temperature capable of fixing is heated by forcibly lighting a heater lamp till the fixed conditions are satisfied, and at the time of the forcible lighting operation, the surface of the heating roller 13 in a region having reached a temperature capable of fixing is not heated.

  • Patent number: 6686105
Abstract: A color filter having a light-transmissive support and two or more color-developing layers, which develop hues differing from each other, laminated on the support. Each color-developing layer is developed into a predetermined color pattern including pixels. The pixels of the developed color patterns of the layers either overlap in a direction of lamination or do not overlap in the direction of lamination. Also provided are a color filter forming material produced by laminating the two or more photosensitive and heat-sensitive color-developing layers on the light-transmissive support, and a process for producing a color filter by exposing each photosensitive and heat-sensitive color-developing layer of the above color filter forming material to form a predetermined pattern, heating the photosensitive and heat-sensitive color-developing layers, and fixing the developed color patterns.
