  • Publication number: 20110058199
Abstract: A printer driver adapting to a plurality of models of printers includes a function management unit that determines an available function based on function information including a constraint on a print setting, a print setting unit that generates a print setting screen based on a determination result from the function controlling unit, and a drawing unit that generates print data in response to a request to print drawing data. The function management unit determines whether a print setting value set for the drawing data conforms to the constraint, when the drawing unit responds to the request to print the drawing data. The drawing unit generates print data based on the determination result from the function management unit.

  • Publication number: 20100302589
Abstract: A set of files making up a plug-in that is to be added to a base printer driver is stored all together in a single plug-in storage file. While no plug-in is added, the plug-in storage file is kept empty. A file making up the printer driver and the plug-in storage file are included as printer driver configuration files, and are described in a file list in a driver information file. When the printer driver is copied to a client computer, the files making up the printer driver and the plug-in storage file are transferred, following the descriptions in the file list.

  • Patent number: 5969091
Abstract: An aromatic heterocyclic compound and an aromatic diamino compound are allowed to separately react with a dicarboxylic acid derivative in an organic solvent, thereby synthesizing two kinds of oligomers, and these two kinds of oligomers are allowed to react with each other in an organic solvent to synthesize a block copolymer precursor, or an aromatic heterocyclic compound, an aromatic diamino compound and a dicarboxylic acid derivative are allowed to react in an organic solvent, thereby synthesizing a random copolymer precursor. The block or random copolymer precursor and a matrix polymer are dissolved in an organic solvent, then, the solvent is removed from the solution, and the resulting coagulum is heated to induce a ring-closing reaction, thereby obtaining a molecular composite material in which the copolymer is dispersed finely and homogeneously in the matrix polymer.
