  • Publication number: 20070263268
Abstract: A hologram recorder A1 includes a light source (1) of a coherent light beam and a spatial light modulator (5A) for modulating a part of the light beam from the light source (1) into a recording beam which carries two-dimensional information. Another part of the light beam is used as a reference beam to interfere with the recording beam. The recording beam and the reference beam are directed to a hologram recording medium (B). A semi-translucent optical device (4) is disposed between the light source (1) and the spatial light modulator (SA) for letting a part of the beam travel to the spatial light modulator (5A) as a transmitted beam while letting another part of the beam travel to the hologram recording medium (B) as a reflected beam. The recording beam and the reference beam, after being separated from each other by the optical device (4) as the transmitted beam and the reflected beam, travel along the same optical path (L) to irradiate the hologram recording medium (B).

  • Publication number: 20070188799
Abstract: A communication device with a time authentication requesting function uses timestamp technology to verify a device operation. When receiving an instruction for e-document scan, the communication device transmits a hash value of scanned data of an original to a TSA, and receives a timestamp from the TSA. Then, the communication device stores the scanned data assigned with the timestamp in a prescribed folder, and stores e-document scan history. When receiving an instruction for fax communication, after carrying out fax transmission, the communication device stores fax communication history. When stored history data reaches a prescribed amount, a timer time at that point of time is added to the history data, and the history data is encoded. The communication device transmits a hash value to the TSA, and receives a timestamp from the TSA. Then, the communication device stores the history data assigned with the timestamp in a prescribed folder.

  • Publication number: 20070188829
Abstract: An image scanning device with a time authentication requesting function enables documents, not subject to be converted into e-documents, to be easily converted into e-documents at a later date, and reduces costs required for assigning a timestamp. When a user instructs an account book e-document temporary scan, an original is scanned and stored. An account book temporary file name is assigned to the scanned original, and stored in an account book temporary folder. When the user instructs an estimate e-document temporary scan or a purchase order e-document temporary scan, scanned data of the original is assigned with a file name and stored in a temporary folder of each document type. Documents not subject to be converted into e-documents are stored under the same format as the e-document, and a timestamp is assigned collectively to necessary documents at a later date. Accordingly, costs required for the timestamp can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070188822
Abstract: When executing e-document scan, an image scanning device scans a document and stores scanned data. After resetting a timer, the image scanning device calculates a hash value of the scanned data, and transmits the calculated hash value to a TSA to request the TSA to issue a timestamp. When receiving a timestamp from the TSA, the image scanning device stores the scanned data and the timestamp in an e-document folder. When failing to receive a timestamp within a prescribed period of time after requesting the timestamp, the image scanning device adds a comment to the scanned data indicating that the timestamp failed to be received, and prints out the scanned data with the comment.

  • Patent number: 7201333
Abstract: An automatic irrigation system having a simplified structure can intermittently supply water (and liquid fertilizer) required by farmer products under water saving conditions depending on the weather condition of the day independent of the size of an irrigation area. Water from a water source is pumped by a motor pump driven with electric power generated by a solar panel and stored in a storage tank. When a predetermined amount of water is stored in the tank, a water draining device continuously drains the stored water. This cycle is repeated in proportion to an amount of solar radiation incident on the solar panel. The water is then guided to the irrigation area with a tube irrigation system.

  • Publication number: 20060221795
Abstract: A hologram recording and reproducing apparatus includes a movable galvanomirror, a mirror controller and a reproduction unit. The galvanomirror guides a reference beam toward a hologram recording medium and changes the incident angle of the reference beam. The mirror controller causes the galvanomirror to move for adjusting the incident angle to a predetermined angle for hologram recording. In reproducing the recorded information, the mirror controller causes the galvanomirror to move, so that the incident angle continuously changes within a predetermined range including the predetermined angle. The reproduction unit receives a detection signal from an optical detector while the incident angle changes continuously. The detection signal corresponds to the intensity of a reflected beam from the hologram recording medium. The reproduction unit reproduces the recorded information, based on the detection signal, when the intensity of the reflected beam is over a predetermined level or reaches the maximum.

  • Publication number: 20060215529
Abstract: A hologram recording and reproducing apparatus minimizes reproduction errors by servo control on the tilting of a reference beam relative to a hologram recording medium. The apparatus includes an optical detector for servo control and an optical sensor for reproduction signal conversion. A pixel pattern generator generates, on a wave surface of the recording beam, a discretely distributed recording pixel pattern corresponding to the information to be recorded, and a specifically shaped and localized servo pixel pattern for the servo control. A beam splitter splits the reflected beam from the hologram recording medium into a reproduction beam directed to the optical detector for reproduction signal conversion and a servo beam directed to the optical detector for servo control. A servo controller controls the tilting of the reference beam relative to the hologram recording medium, based on an output signal from the servo control optical detector.
