  • Publication number: 20120200618
Abstract: The present invention provides an image display device capable of, by using a general-purpose image display driver configured to operate based on display data pieces each containing tones corresponding to plural bits, quickly performing bit extension processing to perform tone display corresponding to the display data pieces without providing any special circuit configured to perform the bit extension. A controller (9) is configured to combine the display data pieces output through display data output terminals (P0 to P2) with fixed values output through operation code output terminals (C01 to C05, C07 to C12, and C14 to C17) which are not commonly connected to the display data output terminals, store in a display memory (12) the combined data pieces as tone codes each containing predetermined two or more bits, and set a tone conversion table such that the stored tone codes correspond to tone output values.

  • Publication number: 20020049684
Abstract: A medical checkup network system comprises a patient terminal for measuring the biodata of each patient including a blood pressure and a body temperature, a doctor terminal for allowing the medical staff to view the biodata of each patient for diagnosis and enter a medical support data including a schedule data and an advice data, and a center server for storing the data received from the those terminals. They are connected to each other over a communication network such as the Internet. In the system, the biodata of each patient stored in the center server can be registered and viewed by any of the patient terminal, the doctor terminal, the patient and the medical staff which have been registered in the center server. The system can thus protect the privacy of each patient about the biodata and permit the biodata of each patient to be shared by two or more members of the medical staff.

  • Patent number: 5630018
Abstract: A fuzzy inference device determines an inference operational quantity in accordance with inference rules each constituted by an antecedent and a consequent. An inference rule division determiner which receives data of input variables and output variables so as to determine the number of the inference rules. An antecedent neural element obtains a membership value corresponding to an antecedent of a specific inference rule from the divided data of the input variables and the output variables. A situational change processor adaptively determines an inference quantity of a consequent of each inference rule in the case of a change of an initial state or inference situations. An inference operational quantity determiner receives outputs from the antecedent neural element and the situational change processor and performs fuzzy inference in accordance with the inference rules so as to determine the inference operational quantity.

  • Patent number: 5546506
Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatically generating and adjusting fuzzy reasoning, i.e. logic, rules based on changes in the reasoning error. The apparatus includes a fuzzy reasoning section that performs fuzzy logic based on the fuzzy reasoning rules stored in the a rule memory. The parameters of the fuzzy reasoning rules are adjusted in a parameter tuning section based on the output of the fuzzy reasoning section and predetermined input and output data. A reasoning error calculation section calculates a reasoning error and a change in the reasoning error based on the results from the fuzzy reasoning section and the predetermined input and output data. The reasoning error calculation section also disables the parameter tuning section when the calculated reasoning error is less than a predetermined first threshold value.
