  • Patent number: 11076233
Abstract: Provided is a sound generation device wherein noise can be reduced in accordance with a predetermined frequency band. An elastic member (8) is provided to obtain a sound pressure characteristic having a sub-peak at a predetermined frequency on the lower side than a lowest resonance frequency, and a phase characteristic such that a change rate of phase difference is lowered around the predetermined frequency. When the phase characteristic is calculated by simulation or actually measured in advance and an input signal is controlled such that the generated sound has an opposite phase to the noise, the generated sound can be made less prone to deviate from the opposite phase to the noise even if a time difference is caused between noise sound collection and sound generation at around the predetermined frequency, with the result that the noise can be effectively reduced.

  • Publication number: 20100310109
Abstract: A speaker device where the dip in the middle sound range is reduced, which provides reproduced sound of comparatively high quality, and provides reproduced sound of comparatively high sound pressure. In the speaker device, a support member for a speaker vibrator is adopted for an edge. The speaker device has a movable part (85) having bent parts, or more specifically, having a top bent part, an inner bent part, and an outer bent part. Because the movable part (85) is formed such that the top bent part is positioned closer to the radial center of the speaker device than the radial center between the inner bent part and the outer bent part, the edge (8) has comparatively high rigidity. Consequently, the dip in the middle sound range can be reduced by a simple structure without forming, for example, a damping agent layer and a resin layer on the support member for a speaker vibrator.

  • Publication number: 20100177925
Abstract: A speaker device includes a diaphragm having an inner rim connected to a voice coil bobbin and an outer rim connected to a frame through an edge, wherein the diaphragm is shaped so that a peak portion is formed with an acute angle folded back between the inner rim and the outer rim which are positioned at an acoustic radiation side in comparison with the peak portion. The cross-sectional shape of the diaphragm extending from the peak portion to the inner rim is formed with a convex shape toward an acoustic radiation side, and also that of the diaphragm extending from the peak portion to the outer rim is formed with substantially straight shape or convex shape toward the acoustic radiation side. The speaker device lower in profile allows high-quality sound to be reproduced, in particular, the high range of frequency characteristic of the sound pressure to be improved.

  • Publication number: 20100128891
Abstract: A repulsive-type magnetic circuit prevents deterioration of magnetic characteristic of magnets due to heat accumulation, and includes: a magnet and plural magnets arranged such that matching poles of the magnet and each of the plural magnets confront each other; a yoke; a pole piece; and a top plate. The pole piece is above the yoke. The top plate is above the pole piece. The magnet is between the yoke and the pole piece. The plural magnets are arranged between the pole piece and top plate. Joule heat generated by the voice coil is hardly propagated, as radiant heat, to one of the plural magnets on the side near the top plate. Accordingly, the temperature of the magnet on the top plate side hardly rises even if radiant heat continuously propagates to the pole piece. This prevents demagnetization of each of the plural magnets, and deterioration of the magnetic characteristics thereof.

  • Patent number: 7379556
Abstract: A speaker device includes an acoustic capacity unit; an acoustic pipe connected to the acoustic capacity unit; and a driving speaker attached to the acoustic capacity unit. The acoustic capacity unit and the acoustic pipe constitute the Helmholtz resonator, and resonate at a predetermined Helmholtz resonant frequency. On the other hand, the acoustic pipe itself has a resonant frequency. By setting the resonant frequency of the acoustic pipe to be 0.5 to 2.5 octaves higher than the Helmholtz resonant frequency, the speaker device can be obtained which outputs signals of continuous frequency band from the Helmholtz resonant frequency to the resonant frequency of the acoustic pipe.

  • Publication number: 20080025552
Abstract: A magnetic circuit for a speaker device includes: a yoke which has magnetism and has a center pole formed into a column shape; and plural flat plate-shaped magnets which are uniformly arranged around the center pole and form a magnetic gap with the center pole. Each of the magnets is magnetized in a direction in parallel with a thickness direction and in a direction of the center pole. The magnetic circuit for the speaker device is a radial-type magnetic circuit. Since each of the flat plate-shaped magnets is formed not into a circular arc shape but into a flat plate shape, it becomes easy to form the magnets, and the number of procedures of forming of the magnets can be reduced. Additionally, since each of the flat plate-shaped magnets is magnetized in the thickness direction, a special magnetization machine becomes unnecessary. Thus, the number of procedures of magnetizing of the flat plate-shaped magnets can be reduced. As a result, the manufacturing cost of the magnetic circuit can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070286447
Abstract: A ribbon-shaped speaker device includes a magnetic circuit which has two magnetic gaps; two diaphragms which have conductive properties and which are arranged substantially in parallel with and opposite to each other in each of the magnetic gaps; and a driving part which supplies a driving current to each of the diaphragms. A direction of a magnetic flux in each of the magnetic gaps and a direction of the driving current supplied to each of the diaphragms are set such that each of the diaphragms moves in a same direction. Each of the diaphragms inclines in a direction adjacent to each other.
