  • Patent number: 9089914
Abstract: A wire electric discharge machine has a function for controlling the machining liquid temperature. When it is predicted that the machining liquid temperature rises linearly, the machining liquid begins to be warmed at time t5b to reach machining liquid control temperature T2 at human operation beginning time t2. If the temperature rise at predetermined later time t8 is greater than predicted, temperature rising suspended from time t8 to a later time t9. Temperature rising resumed at time t9. This allows the machining liquid temperature to reach the machining liquid control temperature T2 without wasting electric power.

  • Publication number: 20150196964
Abstract: A primary power supply charges a capacitor by turning on a switching element and, upon completion of charging, turns off the switching element. Then, an AC pulse voltage is applied to the gap between a wire electrode and a workpiece by alternately turning on and off a switching element present in a secondary power supply. After a dielectric breakdown occurs between the wire electrode and the workpiece, the switching element is turned on to connect the capacitor so that the capacitor supplies a pulse current for machining.

  • Publication number: 20140135974
Abstract: A wire electric discharge machine is configured to machine a workpiece by computing an electric current at the machining time before starting a main machining and compensating a power source voltage for machining. The wire electric discharge machine measures an average electric current and an electric discharge frequency at the machining time, in a measuring section in an approach before the main machining, and computes a peak current at the machining time. Further, an electric voltage of a machining power source is compensated by comparing the computed peak current at the machining, with a reference peak current.

  • Patent number: 8462266
Abstract: An image processing device and method, and an image display device and method which realizes a high-definition displayed video by reducing motion blur caused by a holding-type display system and reducing motion blurs of the displayed video caused by the time integration effect of an image sensor while suppressing deterioration of an image. The image display device includes a motion vector detection section (101) which detects a motion vector in each predetermined region between the frames of an inputted image signal, and an edge emphasis part (2) which emphasizes the high-frequency component of the inputted image signal and an interpolated image signal generated by an FRC part (100) according to the motion amount of the inputted image signal detected by the motion vector detection section (101). This compensates the high-frequency component attenuated by the time integration effect of the image sensor to reduce the apparent motion blurs to improve the sharpness of the displayed image.
