  • Publication number: 20090304906
Abstract: An evaporating apparatus 10 includes a vapor deposition source 210, a transport path 110e21, a blowing vessel 110 and a first processing chamber 100. The transport path 110e21 is connected with the vapor deposition source 210 via a connection path 220e and transports a film forming material vaporized from the vapor deposition source 210. A blowing port 110e11 is formed of a metal porous member and blows out the film forming material which has passed through a buffer space S via the transport path 110e21. The first processing chamber 100 performs the film formation on a target object G with the blown-out film forming material. A gap between the target object G and the blowing port 110e1 can be shortened by blowing out gas molecules having a high uniformity from the metal porous member.

  • Publication number: 20020124815
Abstract: In a cylinder head, a cooling water passage with a circular shape (an elliptical shape) in cross section in radial direction is formed at an area (lower layer deck) closer to a combustion chamber than a water jacket in which a cooling water flows.

  • Patent number: 5979205
Abstract: A ring manufacturing method and a ring manufacturing apparatus according to the invention does not require the preparation of a specially shaped plate material for each type of ring plate to be manufactured. It is therefore possible to manufacture a ring plate of any thickness or width with a high degree of accuracy even in high-variety, low-volume production. In a plate material forming step, a round bar 1 is formed by rollers 3, 4 into a plate material having any desired cross-sectional shape. In a slant rolling step, the plate material is slant rolled by slant rollers 9, 10 and thereby formed into a specially shaped plate material whose thickness increases in the width direction from one side to the other. In a ring forming step, this specially shaped plate material is formed into a ring shape by a ring forming device 14.

  • Patent number: 5829911
Abstract: A method for forming a high-tooth spline of a hollow shaft which comprises a step of press-inserting a workpiece of a hollow shaft into a die having a spline-shaped internal surface by a punch, for backing up a portion of the workpiece corresponding to the spline-shaped surface of the die from the inside thereof, having a tip portion made of a material having a hardness lower than that of the die, and a step of forming a spline portion on the workpiece. A hollow shaft having a high-tooth spline formed by the above method.

  • Patent number: 4559798
Abstract: A fillet rolling machine having a frame, on which a work spindle with a chuck is carried for rotation about a horizontal axis. A tailstock is mounted on the frame for supporting one end of a crankshaft to be processed while the same is grasped and rotated by the chuck. A head support is movable on the top of the frame in a direction parallel to the axis of the work spindle and carries first to third support shafts in parallel relation with the axis of the work spindle. The first and second support shafts, disposed in parallel with each other, respectively carry first and second rolling heads which respectively effect rolling treatments on fillets formed at one of journals and one of crankpins adjacent thereto of the crankshaft. The third support shafts, disposed co-axially with the first support shaft, carries a third rolling head which effects a rolling treatment on a fillet formed at a front journal of the crankshaft.

  • Patent number: 4554811
Abstract: A crankpin rolling apparatus is provided wherein plural pairs of upper and lower arms are pivotably carried by respective hinge pins extending in parallel relation with the rotational axis of a workpiece support device. A pair of upper and lower roller holders each rotatably carrying burnishing rollers are respectively mounted on each pair of the upper and lower arms. When the plural pairs of upper and lower arms are closed by respective pressuring actuators, the pair of upper and lower roller holders arrest a corresponding one of crankpins of a crankshaft on the workpiece support means and pressure the burnishing rollers upon fillets formed on the corresponding one of crankpins. The hinge pins are respectively carried by a plurality of rocking members, which are independently pivotable about a support shaft held by a machine frame in parallel relation with the rotational axis of workpiece support device.
