Patent number: 7049885Abstract: A digital amplifier causes a gate drive circuit to drive output transistors, and switches a power source voltage supplied from a variable voltage power source, thereby amplifying an amplitude of a 1-bit digital signal outputted from a ?? block. A variable voltage power source varies a driving voltage, by which an upper gate drive circuit drives output transistors, as a voltage obtained by adding (i) a constant voltage supplied to a lower gate drive circuit to (ii) a power source voltage, so as to correspond to the power source voltage. Thus, the driving voltage is minimized without influencing a switching operation of the output transistors. As a result, it is possible to reduce power consumption of the upper gate drive circuit in turning down the volume.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2003Date of Patent: May 23, 2006Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiroyuki Ishizaki

Patent number: 7005585Abstract: Wiring electrodes are formed on a first principal surface of a base substrate. An insulation film partially covers the first principal surface of the base substrate and the wiring electrodes. The insulation film has opening portions where the base substrate and the wiring electrodes are not coated with the insulation film. An electronic component having bump electrodes is mounted on the mounting board by connecting the bump electrodes with the wiring electrodes in the opening portions. A gap between the first principal surface of the base substrate and the electronic component is filled with sealing resin. The opening portions are substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the wiring electrodes. The ratio of the minimum width of a portion of the base substrate exposed at each of the opening portions to the thickness of the insulation film may advantageously be greater than or equal to 2.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2005Date of Patent: February 28, 2006Assignee: Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiroyuki Ishizaki

Patent number: 5655765Abstract: A paper path switching mechanism including a plurality of feeding rollers which feed a page when the page is pressed against the feeding rollers by guide members of a switching guide. The switching guide has long guide members which press the paper against the feeding rollers and short guide members positioned near the edges of the page. The short guide members guide the page without imparting too much resistance at the edges of the page in order to reduce the frequency of paper jams. The longer guide members are tapered in width at portions near the periphery of the feeding rollers in order to reduce the size of the contact area of the page to the long guide members which reduces resistance on the page and consequently reduces paper jams. After the page passes between the switching guide and feeding rollers, its direction of travel is reversed and the page again contacts the switching guide but moves along a different edge of the guide members and along a different paper path in order to invert pages.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1995Date of Patent: August 12, 1997Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Shinzi Asami, Yoshiaki Ushirogata, Hiroyuki Ishizaki, Minoru Hattori, Terumitsu Azuma

Patent number: 5570877Abstract: In an image forming apparatus, a device for turning a paper of the present invention has a transport roller constantly rotatable in a predetermined direction for paper transport. A reverse transport member is positioned downstream of the transport roller in the predetermined direction, and transports the paper, transported by the transport roller, in the direction opposite to the predetermined direction. A turn guide has a first guide face for guiding the paper toward the transport roller, and a second guide face for guiding in a paper discharge direction the paper being transported by the reverse transport member in the direction opposite to the predetermined direction. The end portion of the first and second guide faces close to the reverse transport member extends in the direction in which the end portion intersects the periphery of the transport roller.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 1995Date of Patent: November 5, 1996Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Shinji Asami, Yoshiaki Ushirogata, Hiroyuki Ishizaki, Minoru Hattori, Terumitsu Azuma

Patent number: 5232210Abstract: An automatic document feeding method for a recycling automatic document feeder (RADF) for use with a copier or similar image recording apparatus. The last document to be returned and the document immediately preceding it are discharged in succession. The discharge of the last document occurs on the elapse of a predetermined period of time after the discharge of the immediately preceding document.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1992Date of Patent: August 3, 1993Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Shirou Saeki, Hiroyuki Ishizaki

Patent number: 5186446Abstract: A recycling automatic document feeder (RADF) for use with a copier or similar equipment for feeding a stack of documents to an illuminating position one by one, then returning each document, and repeating the cycle to illuminate the documents a plurality of times. A gate pawl is located movable into and out of contact with a document table. A feeding section has feeding means for feeding, a stack of documents on the table one by one. A transporting section transports the document fed from the feeding section to a predetermined illuminating position and, then, discharges the document. A returning section turns over the document transported by transporting means. The returning section returns the document discharged to the top of the stack of documents. Sensors sense a condition in which the documents are fed or transported.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 1991Date of Patent: February 16, 1993Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Shiro Saeki, Yukitaka Nakazato, Hiroyuki Ishizaki, Fumitaka Hyodou, Kunihiro Uotani

Patent number: 4426646Abstract: A self shift type gas discharge panel in which the display screen comprises a plurality of shift lines arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, and a system and method for driving the panel. The display screen is divided into several sections both in the horizontal and vertical directions to form a plurality of display areas, and the shift operation can be performed independently in each of these display areas. While the forward shift operation is conducted in a single selected display area, a reciprocating or sway shift operation, or a stationary display, obtain selectively in the remaining display areas with such a configuration, so that an editing operation can be realized which is similar to that realized by the existing well known matrix display gas discharge panel. As a result, the display function can be much improved.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1980Date of Patent: January 17, 1984Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Hisashi Yamaguchi, Toyoshi Kawada, Hirofumi Kashiwara, Hiroyuki Ishizaki, Kenji Murase
