  • Publication number: 20140030963
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to increase the collection rate of an abrasive fluid when cutting a workpiece whose plate thickness changes in a longitudinal direction (vertical direction) and/or a width direction (horizontal direction) and to improve the worker's working environment. An abrasive water-jet machining device includes an abrasive nozzle assembly (11) that jets ultrahigh-pressure water mixed with an abrasive during a cutting process for cutting a workpiece (W) into a desired shape, a catcher cup (12) that collects the ultrahigh-pressure water jetted from the abrasive nozzle assembly (11), and a distance adjusting mechanism (13) that adjusts the distance between the abrasive nozzle assembly (11) and the catcher cup (12) so as to keep a constant distance between the catcher cup (12) and the workpiece (W).

  • Publication number: 20130069425
Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle, wherein a detection signal, indicating the connection state of an external power feeding device 100 to an external charging connection unit 5 of a vehicle 1, is supplied from a connection state detection signal generating unit 11 to a storage device management control unit 10 and a power converter control unit 8. When detection signal indicating that an operation to release a lock mechanism 108, which locks the external power feeding device 100 connected to the external charging connection unit 5, has been performed is received from the connection state detection signal generating unit 11, the power converter control unit 8 controls a power converter 7, which feeds power from the external power feeding device 100 to an electric storage device 3, to a power feeding shutoff operation mode, independently of a charging control command received from the storage apparatus management control unit 10.

  • Patent number: 5649198
Abstract: This invention aims to perform mapping in a user space without concern for an architecture of a parallel computer and to obtain a high-speed mapping pattern. An N-dimensional model is divided by a user into a plurality of calculation units. The calculation units and physical processors are assigned with an identification code. Correspondence therebetween is held on an address conversion table. By accessing the address conversion table, the user can freely perform a mapping operation. Thereafter, interprocessor communication is carried out by the use of the identification code assigned to the calculation units.
