  • Patent number: 8496315
Abstract: A recording system for relatively easily and rapidly performing a registration adjustment in a recording device having a plurality of recording units which record divided recording images on the same recording medium. The recording system causes each of recording units (108A-108F) to record a registration adjustment pattern. Based on the recorded pattern, an inter-unit adjustment that is a registration adjustment among the plurality of recording units and an intra-unit adjustment that is a registration adjustment among the plurality of recording heads in each recording unit are performed.

  • Publication number: 20080304891
Abstract: A barcode generation system that generates an appropriate barcode, which satisfies the usage condition of each user, quickly and with a minimum consumption of ink and paper. A test chart is printed on a printing device 200 based on a test chart image 706 provided for printing black bars and white bars of a barcode wherein each of the black bars and white bars has the width of one of a plurality of different numbers of dots, and the output test chart 704 is read by an image scanner 110. An information processing device 100 analyzes the image, which has been read, and generates a relation table 800. In addition, based on information on a barcode type and a narrow bar width, the information processing device 100 calculates, by referring to the relation table 800, the correction values (barcode correction values 707) for the widths of the bar elements constituting the barcode.

  • Publication number: 20080259391
Abstract: Recording data generated by a recording data generation PC (100) is divided by recording data sending PCs (110, 120) and is sent to corresponding recording devices (210, 220). The recording devices (210, 220) record the received divided recording data on a common recording medium (130). If a recording error has occurred on one of the recording devices, the error is notified to the recording data generation PC via the recording data sending PC and recording stop instructions are issued from the recording data generation PC to all recording devices. When the recording stop instruction is received, each recording device sends the recording page number at that time to the recording data generation PC. The recording data generation PC determines a desired recording page number from the recording page numbers acquired from the recording devices, acquires the recording data from a recording database, converts the acquired recording data to display data, and displays it on a display device.

Based on the recorded pattern, an inter-unit adjustment that is a registration adjustment among the plurality of recording units and an intra-unit adjustment that is a registration adjustment among the plurality of recording heads in each recording unit are performed. In the inter-unit adjustment, the same adjustment value is simultaneously added to all other recording units on a side of a compared recording unit when a recording position of the compared recording unit is corrected, the compared recording unit being compared with a reference recording unit, the reference recording unit being one of the neighboring two recording units.
