  • Publication number: 20240074490
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a filter in which a liquid having phenol filtration capability is prevented from leaking out even after prolonged storage; and a flavor inhalation article equipped with said filter. The problem is solved by a filter that is for a flavor inhalation article, and that has a filtering medium including a biodegradable material, and a paper roll wound around the filtering medium. The filtering medium contains a liquid having a phenol filtration capability. A surface of the roll paper where a contact is made with the filtering medium is made of a layer exhibiting liquid-repellent properties with respect to said liquid.

  • Patent number: 9623669
Abstract: An ink supply device for a printhead includes an ink cartridge and a damper device. The ink cartridge is connected to the printhead through a flexible tube. The printhead is mounted on a carriage that reciprocates, and discharges an ink drop to perform printing. The damper device is mounted on the carriage to relax pressure fluctuation of ink supplied from the ink cartridge to the printhead. The damper device has a case, an ink introduction passage, and a flexible plate. The case defines a pressure chamber communicated with the printhead. The ink introduction passage is communicated with the flexible tube, and is communicated with the pressure chamber. The flexible plate is provided so as to define a part of the pressure chamber, and has a waveform portion formed with a plurality of waveforms.

  • Patent number: 7296874
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes an absorber configured to abut a nozzle surface of a line head to absorb ink adhered on the nozzle surface. A portion of the absorber which corresponds to an opening of a nozzle is removed. The absorber is configured to abut the nozzle surface except for a portion near the nozzle. Ink remaining on the nozzle surface is absorbed by the absorber. Thus, when the nozzle surface is wiped with a blade, accumulation of a large amount of remaining ink is prevented.

  • Patent number: 7278696
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus ejects ink from recording heads to a recording paper, thereby attaching the ink to the medium for recording. The apparatus includes a carriage driving motor, a transfer motor, a scanner which reciprocates a carriage having the recording heads in a scanning direction, and a transfer machine. The transfer machine transfers the recording paper in a transfer direction perpendicular to the scanning direction. Both of the motors are located at approximately the same place in an ejecting direction of ink from the heads to the paper, and at the same height of a transfer path of the paper or on the carriage side with respect to the transfer path.

  • Patent number: 7244011
Abstract: Line heads are arranged along the transfer direction of a recording medium. Each line head has a nozzle surface in which nozzles are provided over a width direction of the recording medium. Purge units each corresponding to one of the line heads are arranged along the transfer direction of the recording medium at positions which deviate from the recording medium in the width direction. Each purge unit cleans the nozzle surface of a corresponding one of the line heads.

  • Patent number: 7156481
Abstract: An ink jet recording apparatus, which performs printing by ink ejection, includes a pressure chamber in which ink liquid is filled; a nozzle hole (116) which is formed so as to communicate with the pressure chamber; a piezoelectric element (113) which is formed on the pressure chamber, and deforms the pressure chamber by mechanical expansion and contraction, whereby pressure is generated in the pressure chamber and ink is ejected from the nozzle hole (116); and a dew point control unit (123) which maintains a dew point in an atmosphere of the piezoelectric element (113) and the vicinity of the piezoelectric element at a lower value than a dew point in an environment where the ink jet recording apparatus is set. The dew point control unit (123) includes a compressor (123a), and an air drier (123b) which dries compression gas from the compressor (123a) and feeds it to the piezoelectric element.
