  • Publication number: 20220297681
Abstract: A vehicle control system prevents an acceleration opposing a driver's intention even when the driver mistakenly depresses an accelerator pedal on a vehicle collision. When a collision of the vehicle is detected by an airbag system, a controller performs a brake assist control to increase a braking force of the vehicle and also performs a driving force reduction assist control to reduce a vehicle driving force to a lower value than normal based on an operation amount of the accelerator pedal. The driving force reduction assist control is continued if the accelerator pedal operation amount detected by the accelerator pedal becomes equal to or above a predetermined threshold during a time before the collision to a predetermined time after the collision and keeps equal to or above the threshold even after the brake assist control is released after the vehicle comes to a stop.

  • Patent number: 11180101
Abstract: A sensor attachment structure includes an energy absorption member, a sensor attachment portion provided to the energy absorption member and configured to attach a sensor case that houses a pressure sensor, and a cover that defines a space to house the sensor case between the cover and the sensor attachment portion. The sensor case is attached to the sensor attachment portion by locking. At least one of the sensor case, the sensor attachment portion, and the cover includes a fall preventing structure that prevents the sensor case from falling off an opening formed by the sensor attachment portion and the cover.

  • Publication number: 20180341016
Abstract: A surroundings monitoring device (100) includes an object detection unit (110) which is mounted in a structure and detects objects around the structure, a first sensor (120) for determining whether an object has collided with the structure, and a first controller (140) which determines whether the object has collided with the structure on the basis of the detection result of the first sensor and restrains the operation of the object detection unit or causes an information output unit to output predetermined information in a case that it is determined that the object has collided with the structure.

  • Publication number: 20090039301
Abstract: According to the invention, a malfunction due to catch of a foreign matter in a variable valve timing mechanism is prevented. In an internal combustion engine including a variable valve timing mechanism, when feedback control of an actuator is conducted so that an actual cam phase corresponds to a target cam phase calculated depending on an engine operation condition, if the target cam phase changes by a change in the engine operating condition, the actuator is controlled with a predetermined control value different from the feedback control only for a predetermined time thereafter.
