  • Patent number: 4928897
Abstract: A magazine body accommodating a photosensitive material is loaded into a processor of a photo-printing device. The magazine body incorporates a pair of rollers for seizing a mid-portion of the photosensitive material, the rollers being separated from each other when feeding the material to the processor. When loading the magazine into the processor, the material is completely stored inside the magazine body. After loading the magazine, input rollers mounted on a light shielding cover of the processor are rotated while being pressed. At this time, the pair of rollers approach each other to seize the photosensitive material. Subsequently, the rollers rotate to feed the material to the processor.

  • Patent number: 4905043
Abstract: A shutter driving apparatus for use in a photographic printer to drive a shutter for opening and closing the path of light which is incident on a photographic paper comprises a pulse motor for causing the shutter to pivot so as to open and close the light path, first and second stoppers which are arranged to come into contact with the pivoting shutter to thereby dispose it in a position for opening the light path and a position for closing the light path, respectively, a controller for suspending the operation of the pulse motor when the shutter which is being pivoted in the direction for closing the light path by means of the pulse motor reaches a position which is immediately in front of the light path closing position, and a spring for biasing the shutter toward the light path closing position with torque which is smaller than the starting torque and holding torque of the pulse motor and greater than the detent torque thereof.

  • Patent number: 4893149
Abstract: A photographic printing apparatus for diffusing light emitted from a light source and irradiating a negative film with the light diffused has a body for accommodating a light source, a case which is attached to the accommodating body for swinging motion between an exposure-light guiding position and an out-of-optical-path position, and a diffuser box which is detachably attached to the case. With this arrangement, when a diffuser box is to be replaced in order to employ a negative film of different size, the diffuser box can be mounted without the need to detach the case.

  • Patent number: 4857962
Abstract: A masking device for use in photographic printing, disposed between a photographic printing light source and a lengthwise sheet of photosensitive medium and adapted to define the printing area, the masking device having a pair of moving bases capable of moving in the widthwise direction of the photosensitive medium, a pair of widthwise-end mask members supported on the moving bases and moved in response to the movement of the moving bases so as to define the printing area in the widthwise direction of the photosensitive medium at the time of printing of a non-framed image, and a pair of auxiliary mask members mounted on the widthwise-end mask members and adapted to define the printing area in the widthwise direction of the photosensitive medium at the time of printing of a framed image. The printing area is defined by the widthwise-end mask members when a non-framed image is formed or its is defined by the auxiliary mask members when a framed image is formed.

  • Patent number: 4806983
Abstract: A masking device for use in photographic printing, disposed between a photographic printing light source and a lengthwise sheet of photosensitive medium and adapted to define the printing area, in which a pair of widthwise-end mask members are supported on a pair of moving bases capable of moving in the widthwise direction of the photosensitive medium so that the widthwise-end mask members can move toward or away from each other to a predetermined extent, thereby enabling printing of either of framed and non-framed images.
