Publication number: 20140338326Abstract: An internal combustion engine control device that acquires the temperature of a catalyst disposed in an exhaust path, and detects an abnormal combustion that has occurred in a combustion chamber. The control device includes a gas control unit, which controls the amount of intake gas flowing into the combustion chamber and the temperature of exhaust gas flowing into the catalyst, and a fuel injection amount control unit, which controls the amount of fuel injected into the combustion chamber. The control device also includes an abnormal combustion inhibition mode selection unit that chooses a first mode, a second mode, or a third mode in accordance with the catalyst temperature when the abnormal combustion is detected. The first mode causes the gas control unit to suppress the occurrence of the abnormal combustion while raising the catalyst temperature.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2012Publication date: November 20, 2014Applicant: TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventor: Hiroyuki Sugihara

Publication number: 20060231243Abstract: Provided is an EGR cooler which can solve the problem of the vibrated tubes without causing thermal deformation due to stagnation of the coolant water, without complexity of piping in the coolant water system and without increase in pressure loss. The EGR cooler comprises tubes 3 and a shell surrounding the tubes 3, the coolant water being supplied and discharged to and from the shell 1 and being passed through the respective tubes 3 so as to make heat exchange of the exhaust gas with the coolant water. In the shell 1, an intermediate support plate 13 with a plurality of through-holes 14 is arranged and mutually adjacent ones of the tubes 3 are grouped for penetratingly fixture to the through-hole 14. A coolant water passage 15 is ensured between the tubes 3 grouped and penetratingly fixed to the same through-hole 14 of the intermediate support plate 13 for free communication between the tubes 3.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2004Publication date: October 19, 2006Applicants: HINO MOTORS, LTD., SANKYO RADIATOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroyuki Sugihara, Makoto Tsujita, Yoji Yamashita

Publication number: 20060201661Abstract: Coolant water is prevented from stagnating with no restriction to a mounted posture of an EGR cooler to a vehicle. The EGR cooler has tubes 3 and a shell 1 surrounding the tubes 3, coolant water 9 being fed into and discharged from the shell 1, exhaust gas being passed through the tubes 3 for heat exchange of the exhaust gas with the coolant water 9. An annular coolant-water supply chamber 11 is fitted over the shell 1 near an axial end of the shell 1. A coolant-water inlet pipe 4 is connected to a periphery of the supply chamber 11. Communicating holes 12 are formed at a plurality of peripheral positions sequentially along a portion of the shell 1 surrounded by the supply chamber 11 such that the holes have gradually reduced diameters as they are apart from the connection of the shell with the inlet pipe 4, so that the coolant water 9 may be introduced into the shell 1 substantially evenly through the communicating holes 12.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2004Publication date: September 14, 2006Applicants: HINO MOTORS, LTD., SANKYO RADIATOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroyuki Sugihara, Makoto Tsujita, Yoji Yamashita

Patent number: 6428125Abstract: In order to prevent a deck tower from collapsing because two or more decks are drawn at the same surface side of the deck tower, stopper mechanisms for preventing the deck from being drawn are provided at deck shelves at the upper and lower tiers. A deck apparatus includes a stopper member for preventing the decks from being drawn, which is movably mounted, so that the stopper mechanisms at the upper and lower tiers may be linked with each other. It also includes a locking arm for when the stopper member at any shelf is moved to release the deck from being locked, preventing the stopper members at the remaining shelves from moving. The locking arm allows only an deck to be alternatively drawn.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2000Date of Patent: August 6, 2002Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Hiroshi Nakazawa, Takahisa Miyamoto, Hiroyuki Sugihara, Kenichi Utsumi
