The surface of at least one of the fixed contact and the movable contact is provided with a plurality of recesses whose edges are overlapped with each other, and also provided with a plurality of projections. The projections formed on the contact surface have sharp-pointed tips which can break an oxide film or the like if it is formed on the contact surface, thereby achieving stable contact.
