  • Publication number: 20140300569
Abstract: A method is disclosed of controlling a user interface device for displaying on a display screen a plurality of objects, and for enabling a user to perform an input action by touching the display screen with the user's finger. This method includes: upon the user's touch to the display screen at a region of one of the plurality of objects being displayed, selecting the one object as a zoom target; upon an event occurring in which an intensity of the finger's touch on the display screen exceeds a predetermined threshold, determining a magnification ratio of the zoom target or a change rate of the magnification ratio, based on the intensity of the finger's touch; and zooming in the zoom target on the display screen with the determined magnification ratio or the determined change rate.

  • Patent number: 7394243
Abstract: A proximity sensor 717 comprising a combination of an arbitrarily selected one of a plurality of types of detection end modules 707, a plurality of types of output circuit modules 709 and a plurality of types of outer shell cases 711. The detection end module 707 includes an integrated arrangement having a detection coil assembly (705, 701, 702) with the detection characteristic self-completed by a mask conductor 700 for reducing the conductor detection sensitivity in a specific peripheral area where the outer shell case is assumed to exist, and a detection circuit assembly (703) with the coil of the detection coil assembly as a resonance circuit element. The characteristics of the proximity sensor are completely adjusted before shipment. As a result, the adjustment of the characteristics which otherwise might be required each time is eliminated even in the case of the combination with an outer shell case of a different material.

  • Patent number: 7145348
Abstract: A coated electric wire is wound around a detection circuit in a planar manner for the purpose of electrostatic shield. This winding is performed, for example, spirally in a single layer. In the case where there are further provided a detection circuit board including a detection circuit and a cylindrical case, the coated electric wire is wound around the detection circuit board in a planar manner, wherein the direction of the axis of the cylindrical surface accords with the direction of the axis of the case. Consequently, there can be provided a sensor device in which the detection circuit can be electrostatically shielded with ease.

  • Patent number: 6801113
Abstract: A proximity sensor according to the present invention includes protrusions that are provided on a wire-winding drum of a coil spool around which a lead wire of a detection coil is wound, that protrude toward the center from not less than three points distributed in the range exceeding a semi-circle on the circumference of the wire-winding drum and that are elastically brought into contact with the shaft of the core, respectively, thereby coaxially positioning the coil spool and the shaft of the core.

  • Patent number: 5956732
Abstract: A software management system is provided which enables the configuration of a software system to be checked on a specification level and the difference between two software systems to be identified easily. A system name and a system revision for each client to which the system has been released as well as a specification name and a specification revision for each system revision are registered in a configuration storage. And the name, all of the existing revisions and contents of each specification are registered in a specification storage. A data reference means outputs the contents of the configuration storage or the specification storage to a display device according to a data reference request from an input device such as a keyboard, and also outputs the difference in the name and revision of the specifications of two software systems input from the input device, and/or the contents of the specifications.

  • Patent number: 5857107
Abstract: A distributed software development system includes an apparatus for managing subsystem development in at least one development device. The management apparatus includes a system information file for storing information indicative of a correspondence between a plurality of subsystems and a plurality of specifications. The contents of the specifications are stored in a specification information file. When a subsystem is revised, a subsystem extracting device extracts from these files information regarding the subsystem to be revised. The extracted information is sent to the development device. After being revised by the development device, the extracted information is sent back to the management apparatus. An updating device receives the information and updates the subsystem information file and the specification information file according to the information received.

  • Patent number: 5317157
Abstract: An infrared ray detecting sensor having an infrared ray detecting element located in the cool chamber of a Dewar structure comprising inner and outer cylindrical members. The chamber is evacuated to vacuum level and a getter is arranged in the chamber for ensuring the vacuum level in the chamber. A partition is arranged in the chamber between the inner end of the inner cylindrical member and the getter for forming a restricted passage and allowing communication of a gas between the getter and the infrared ray detecting element and obstructing a stray ray generated upon a radiation of the getter toward the infrared ray detecting element. The restricted passage is formed such that a ray generated upon radiation of the getter is reflected many times at the restricted passage and is dampened. The partition is roughened and colored in black.

  • Patent number: 5049751
Abstract: An infrared rays detecting apparatus is disclosed wherein the area of a loop provided by an element line and a grounding line formed on an inner tube is minimized to reduce an induced electromotive force to minimize production of noises so that correct detection can be accomplished. A grounding line is interposed for each arbitrary number of element lines on a surface of the inner tube, and the element lines are individually connected to output electrodes of an infrared rays sensor of the multi-element type while the individual grounding lines are connected to a common grounding electrode of the infrared rays sensor.
