  • Publication number: 20090207888
Abstract: It is desired to suitably carry out transmission processing and reception processing carried out when transmitting a multicarrier signal where specific subcarriers are omitted. Therefore, the present invention carries out transmission avoidance processing operable when transmitting a multicarrier signal to replace signals corresponding to subcarriers, in a plurality of subcarriers, at frequency positions where transmission is avoided with a null signal. Subsequently, an inverse Fourier transform is carried out on the output of the transmission avoidance processing, the transmission power of the multicarrier signal that has been transformed is amplified in accordance with the number of subcarriers replaced with the null signal and the multicarrier signal is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20090180560
Abstract: A transmitting apparatus includes a transmission power reducing section to reduce a power of a transmission signal in a prescribed frequency band of a multicarrier signal containing a plurality of subcarriers and change the prescribed frequency band in which the power of the transmission signal is reduced in time sequence. In this configuration, when detecting an interfered system by reducing a transmission power in the prescribed frequency band, it is possible to minimize the bandwidth of the prescribed frequency band and thereby minimize degradation of reception characteristics due to the reduction of the transmission power.

  • Publication number: 20090122838
Abstract: A transmission device of the present invention includes a MAC that generates data I transmitted by a band group M and generates data J transmitted by a band group N; signal switching parts that exchange a part of the data I and a part of the data J; and antennas that simultaneously transmit the data I and the data J after data exchange is performed by the signal switching parts, by the band group M and the band group N.

  • Publication number: 20090041087
Abstract: Transmission data spread over a frequency domain and a time domain is efficiently received. When a spread signal is received, if the SNR exceeds a predetermined value, it is determined that a despreading process is not necessary for all blocks, and a block selection flow is started. If a block having a channel estimation result indicating that a decoding process is possible without despreading is present, only that block is subjected to the decoding process, and despreading processes over the frequency domain and time domain are terminated. Moreover, when decoding is performed by despreading only some of the blocks, the despreading process over the frequency domain is preferentially performed so as to efficiently terminate FFT with regard to the spread signal over the time domain for which despreading is not performed.

  • Publication number: 20080291976
Abstract: A communication device of the present invention includes channel compensations, an adaptive processor, a MAC and a controller. The channel compensations weight each of signals received by a plurality of antennas based on an SN ratio of the received signals so as to control the antennas to operate as combining diversity systems. The adaptive processor weights each of the signals received by the plurality of antennas so as to suppress the interference signal and to control the antennas to operate as adaptive array antennas. The MAC detects frequency hopping information of the received signals. The controller changes between the operation of the combining diversity systems and the operation of the adaptive array antennas, based on the frequency hopping information.

  • Publication number: 20080201627
Abstract: A communication device configured to perform packet reception processing, with the header of a packet including a header sequence and a Reed-Solomon code, includes: a header check sequence inspecting unit configured to detect, based on the header check sequence included in a received packet header, an error of the header; a Reed-Solomon encoding unit configured to encode the header of a received packet other than the Reed-Solomon code to generate a Reed-Solomon code; a Reed-Solomon code inspecting unit configured to detect whether or not the Reed-Solomon code generated by the Reed-Solomon encoding unit is completely identical to the Reed-Solomon code within the received packet header; and a processing control unit configured to control payload processing of a received packet in accordance with the inspection results of the header check sequence inspecting unit and the Reed-Solomon code inspecting unit.

  • Publication number: 20070147479
Abstract: A receiving apparatus receives an OFDM signal subject to frequency hopping on multiple bands, the OFDM symbol, which functions as a channel estimation sequence, being transmitted multiple times at hopping intervals in a time division manner on each of the bands. The apparatus includes receiving means for receiving the OFDM signal transmitted on a channel, Fourier transform means for demultiplexing the OFDM signal into signals of sub-carriers, channel correcting means for estimating a channel characteristic by using the OFDM symbol functioning as a channel estimation sequence resulting from the demultiplexing into sub-carrier signals and performing channel correction thereon, and decoding means for performing symbol identification and decoding on the channel-corrected data signal back to the original data signal.
