  • Publication number: 20240109547
Abstract: A difference in a longitudinal force indicating a difference between the longitudinal force acting on left and right wheels is obtained. A correction amount of the longitudinal force acting on each wheel is calculated based on the difference in the longitudinal force, and each wheel is independently controlled. When the difference in the longitudinal force is obtained, a speed increasing ratio of a front wheel steering angle for changing an overall steering ratio is calculated based on a preset control map and an input parameter including a vehicle speed and a lateral acceleration or the vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. A yaw moment to be generated around a weighted center of the vehicle is calculated based on the speed increasing ratio and a steering wheel angle of the vehicle as the input parameter. The difference in the longitudinal force is then calculated based on this yaw moment.

  • Patent number: 11548487
Abstract: A lane departure prevention system includes a controller configured to control a braking force of vehicle wheels such that a lane departure prevention yaw moment is applied to a vehicle. The controller determines whether there is a likelihood that the vehicle enters a spinning state based on at least one of a difference between an actual yaw rate and a normative yaw rate of the vehicle calculated based on a steering angle, a vehicle speed, and the lane departure prevention yaw moment, and a degree of braking slip of a turning inside wheel when the lane departure prevention yaw moment is a yaw moment for preventing departure of the vehicle from a lane to a turning outside, and applies a spin prevention yaw moment to the vehicle when it is determined that there is a likelihood that the vehicle will enter the spinning state.

  • Patent number: 11453367
Abstract: An information processing system includes a vehicle and a server that is able to communicate with the vehicle. The server stores weather information indicating the weather. The vehicle receives the weather information from the server and acquires an image in which a scene outside the vehicle is captured when an operating state of an onboard device is not a prescribed operating state corresponding to the weather indicated by the weather information. The vehicle or the server detects the weather from the image. The server updates the weather information to indicate the weather detected from the image when the weather detected from the image and the weather indicated by the weather information do not match and provides information to a client using the updated weather information.

  • Patent number: 11358638
Abstract: A disturbance handling system for a vehicle to handle a disturbance, the disturbance being an external force that acts on the vehicle and causes deflection of the vehicle, including: a disturbance detecting portion configured to determine an occurrence of the disturbance and to estimate a degree of influence of the disturbance; and a disturbance handling portion configured to handle the disturbance based on the estimated degree of influence of the disturbance, wherein, when a deviation of an actual yaw rate from a standard yaw rate is larger than a set threshold, the disturbance detecting portion determines that the disturbance is occurring and increases the set threshold in a situation in which the vehicle is being automatically steered, the standard yaw rate being a yaw rate of the vehicle determined based on a steering operation.
