  • Patent number: 6094555
Abstract: A developer amount regulating member includes at least a portion for regulating the amount of a developer, which is made of a polyamide elastomer. The content of a polyamide dimer in the polyamide elastomer is decreased to less than 2500 ppm, thereby suppressing blooming of the oligomer component in long-term use or an environment of high temperature and high humidity, and maintaining the good specularity of the regulating member. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the problem of fogging due to blooming, and provide a high-quality image.

  • Patent number: 6088311
Abstract: An optical disc device is provided with a channel phase-locked loop (channel PLL) for generating a read clock signal and a wobble phase-locked loop (wobble PLL) for generating a write clock signal. A frequency divider divides the frequency of the write clock signal from the wobble PLL by a predetermined number n so as to generate a pseudo channel data. A selector selects the pseudo channel data and then furnishes the selected pseudo channel data to the channel PLL when the optical disc device handles a not-yet-recorded area between two adjacent header areas on an optical disc where no data is recorded. The channel PLL locks itself with the pseudo channel data from the selector.

  • Patent number: 5505243
Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire for passenger cars and heavy duty use is disclosed, which tire has a rubber coated steel cord layer in its belt portion. The cord consists of a pair of steel filaments whose preform ratio "K" is set in the range of 2.05-K.sub.1 .ltoreq.K.sub.2 <2.50-K.sub.1. Conformance to this preform ratio "K" provides filaments with periodically alternate contact and non-contact regions longitudinally of the cord.

  • Patent number: 5498456
Abstract: An elastic lifter arranged on an inner surface of a casing of a disc cartridge to exert a pressing force on a disc is formed integrally with the casing and into a plate-like shape in such a manner that a proximal end thereof is connected to the casing and a distal end thereof is rendered free. Such construction permits the pressing force to be kept constant for a long period of time and effectively prevents damage to the disc, to thereby substantially improve durability and reliability of the disc cartridge while significantly decreasing the number of parts, facilitating assembling of the disc cartridge, and attains a decrease in manufacturing cost. The lifter may be formed at a proximal end thereof with a decreased thickness, to thereby facilitate bending of the lifter.
