  • Publication number: 20230014201
Abstract: A trimming machine capable of suppressing damage to a gear when blades are locked, with a simple structure without increasing weight and cost. The trimming machine includes: an electric motor; a blade drive gear rotationally driven by the electric motor; an eccentric cam provided in the gear; and a pair of blades relatively slidably facing and contacting each other, in which the eccentric cam is adapted to reciprocate the pair of blades in relatively opposite directions along the longitudinal direction of the blades, thereby grinding cutting edges against each other, the cutting edges provided in a protruding manner with gaps therebetween in the pair of blades, and a shock absorbing portion is provided between a connecting portion connected to the eccentric cam and the cutting edges in each of the blades.

  • Publication number: 20230016087
Abstract: A trimming machine capable of releasing cutting edges from branches or the like, by reversing motor rotation without requiring additional operation (with normal operation) by a user, such as operating a forward-reverse switching lever, when blades are locked. The trimming machine includes: an electric motor; a blade drive gear rotationally driven by the electric motor; an eccentric cam provided in the gear; a pair of blades relatively slidably facing and contacting each other, which are reciprocated, by the eccentric cam, in relatively opposite directions along a longitudinal direction of the blades, thereby grinding cutting edges provided in a protruding manner with gaps therebetween in the pair of blades against each other; a trigger lever for driving the blades; and a control circuit (controller) that controls a rotational driving of the electric motor based on input from the trigger lever and switches a rotational direction of the electric motor at each time of the input from the trigger lever.

  • Patent number: 6081496
Abstract: An objective lens for focusing a laser beam onto an optical information medium is disclosed. The objective lens comprises a lens body and a flange portion arranged on the periphery of the lens body. The surface of the lens body facing the optical information medium is formed with a convex shape having a radius of curvature R as follows: 0.05 m<R<0.5 m. In this way, a dynamic pressure is generated due to the convex-shaped surface and the rotation of the optical disk. This generates a buoyancy which overcomes the maximum acceleration of the objective lens. In this manner, it becomes possible to avoid collision of the objective lens with the optical information medium even in the presence of relative tilts, such as tangential tilts, radial tilts, and shift tilts, between the optical information medium and the objective lens.

  • Patent number: 4329720
Abstract: A tape recorder comprises a tape run stop detection lever and a spring. The lever is provided with a detection pin which is urged in one direction by a rotation of a right side reel rest to be engaged with a cam idler. When the detection pin is engaged with the cam idler at the stop of the right side reel rest, the lever is moved in one direction by the engagement between the cam idler and detection pin. The spring produces at the movement of the lever an urging force acting in the direction opposite to said one direction. The lever is moved in the direction by the engagement between the cam idler and detection pin to detect the stop of the tape run. The cam idler is temporarily prevented from being coupled to an idler section of a flywheel and is rotated by the spring in the direction opposite to said one direction to release the engagement.
