  • Patent number: 5124881
Abstract: An enclosed type switchgear for receiving electric power from two separate power lines includes first and second circuit breaker chambers arranged side by side and a third circuit breaker chamber provided below the first and second circuit breaker chambers. First and second circuit breakers, the power source side terminals of which connected to the power lines are encased in the first and second circuit breaker chambers, respectively, while a third circuit breaker interconnecting the load side terminals of the first and second circuit breakers is encased in the third circuit breaker chamber. Bus chambers are provided on the rear side of the first, second and third circuit breaker chambers, respectively for encasing conductors interconnecting the first, second and third circuit breakers. All of the chambers and the conductors are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center line of the switchgear for minimizing the kind and number of the conductors interconnecting the circuit breakers.
