  • Publication number: 20230003986
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a surgical microscope system and a microscope camera adapter that enable various types of adjustment in a camera adapter connecting the cameras that capture a three-dimensional image, with right and left cameras simultaneously. Of respective right and left lens groups that constitute respective focus lenses, right and left lenses between lenses closest to a side of an objective lens and lenses closest to sides of eye lenses are simultaneously moved by the same distance according to a setting value, by which focus is adjusted. The present invention can be applied to a surgical microscope system.

  • Patent number: 8409077
Abstract: A capsule endoscope can prevent any fall of the efficiency of observation by reducing the substance or substances adhering to the outer surface of the front end cover such as food residue and mucus. The capsule endoscope includes a dome-shaped front end cover provided on the outer surface with photocatalytic coating, an image pickup means arranged in the front end cover to pick up images of the inside of an object of examination into which the endoscope is introduced and acquire image information on the inside of the object of examination and a lighting section arranged around the image pickup means within the dome-shaped front end cover.

  • Patent number: 7959563
Abstract: A capsule endoscope includes an objective lens and a transparent dome that covers the object side of the objective lens, and the transparent dome has negative refracting power. In the capsule endoscope of the present invention, the center of curvature of the object-side surface of the transparent dome disagrees with the center of curvature of the objective-lens-side surface of the transparent dome to satisfy the following condition: Rb<L?Ra where Ra is the radius of curvature of the object-side surface of the transparent dome, Rb is the radius of curvature of the objective-lens-side surface of the transparent dome, and L is a distance from the vertex of the object-side surface of the transparent dome to the most object-side surface of the objective lens.

  • Publication number: 20090225157
Abstract: An image pickup module comprises a lens assembly including a lens having a flange part, and a frame component for shading a circumferential surface excluding a neighborhood of a top portion of the flange part in the lens; an image pickup element which the top portion of the flange part touches; and an illumination element arranged around said lens assembly and said image pickup element. It is constituted so that exit light from a luminescence surface of said illumination element may not reach directly to an exposed portion which is not shaded by said frame component of the flange part.

  • Publication number: 20090069633
Abstract: The invention relates to a capsule endoscope layout capable of achieving a small-format, wide-angle, wide light-distribution arrangement with limited variations. A capsule endoscope 1 comprises an objective lens 4, a transparent dome 2 to cover the object side of the objective lens, and light emitter devices located around the outer periphery of the objective lens. The endoscope 1 further comprises an integral-piece holder member 30 adapted to hold the objective lens 4 in place and hold the light emitter devices 5 at a position set back from an end of, and around, the objective lens 4 while the light emitter devices 5 are inclined outward at an angle with a center axis of said objective lens 4.
