Patent number: 10225939Abstract: Depending on the orientation by which a breathing filter is mounted in a vehicle, water can accumulate in the breathing filter, and prevent the pressure difference between the space inside a case and the outside air from being adjusted; therefore, the vehicular layout is limited. Also, because the filter is formed in the center of the case, electronic parts cannot be installed on substrates on the upper and lower surfaces of the filter, meaning that the substrate size and the case size will increase. In addition, the costs will increase. The structure of the present invention is characterized in that breathing paths are provided on the surfaces sandwiching a portion where a filter film is welded in the corner of a resin-side case of a vehicle-mounted electronic control device such as an engine control unit or an automatic transmission control unit, and in that the breathing paths are connected inside.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2018Date of Patent: March 5, 2019Assignee: HITACHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS, LTD.Inventors: Hitoshi Furudate, Kiyotaka Kanno, Yoshio Kawai, Yoshiyasu Negishi, Takayuki Fukuzawa

Patent number: 9284929Abstract: An electromagnetic fuel injection valve includes: a valve element which closes a fuel passage by coming into contact with a valve seat and opens the fuel passage by going away from the valve seat; an electromagnet which includes a coil and a magnetic core formed as a drive portion for driving the valve element; a movable element which is held by the valve element in a state where the movable element is displaceable in the direction of a drive force of the valve element relative to the valve element; a first biasing portion for biasing the valve element in the direction opposite to the direction of a drive force generated by the drive portion; a second biasing portion for biasing the movable element in the direction of the drive force with a biasing force smaller than the biasing force generated by the first biasing portion; and a restricting portion for restricting the displacement of the movable element in the direction of the drive force relative to the valve element.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2011Date of Patent: March 15, 2016Assignee: Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd.Inventors: Hirotaka Nakai, Motoyuki Abe, Toru Ishikawa, Yasuo Namaizawa, Nobuaki Kobayashi, Kiyoshi Yoshii, Hitoshi Furudate

Patent number: 7565894Abstract: Fuel injection technology of an internal combustion engine is configured in such a manner that in a case where in inlet pipe interior of the engine is partitioned by a rectifying plate into upper and lower flow paths, a flow velocity at a center of the flow path on an upper side, and at a center of the flow path on a lower side is increased. Consequently, a flow velocity distribution of air in a cylinder diametrical direction of a valve head of an inlet valve becomes a peak value on both sides of the valve head center. Therefore, by impinging most of the injected fuel spray upon both sides of the center of the valve head, vaporization of the fuel spray can be performed with good efficiency.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2006Date of Patent: July 28, 2009Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Tomoaki Oda, Hitoshi Furudate, Junichi Furuya, Yoshihiro Sukegawa
