  • Patent number: 8521466
Abstract: A method for determination of interface particles used in a particle method is proposed. According to the present invention, the method for determination includes a density acquiring step of acquiring density in a predetermined range based on a determining-target particle, a first discriminating step of comparing the density with a predetermined threshold, a second discriminating step of determining a symmetry of an arrangement of the other particles within a predetermined range based on the determining-target particle, and a determining step of determining the determining-target particle as an interface particle in the case that the density determined by the first discriminating step is found to be smaller than the predetermined threshold and the arrangement of the other particles determined by the second discriminating step is found to be asymmetrical.

  • Patent number: 5266857
Abstract: An output-terminal device for an a.c. generator for a vehicle has a connecting seat which is provided at a connecting portion formed in an output side heat sink in a rectifier device attached to the rear bracket of the generator. When an output-terminal bolt extends in the lateral direction, an output-terminal bolt, which has a flat portion at the rear end portion, a polygonal flange portion at an intermediate portion and a threaded portion for connecting a terminal of an external wire at the front end portion, is attached to the connecting seat at its flat portion so as to extend in the lateral direction of the rear bracket. When an output-terminal bolt extends in the rear direction, the output-terminal bolt, which has first and second threaded portions at its rear and front end portions, is fixed to the connecting seat by inserting the rear end portion of the bolt in an opening formed in the connecting seat.

  • Patent number: 5245241
Abstract: A brush unit having a brush, a lead extending from the brush, a metal terminal plate connected to the lead, and a compression spring interposed between the brush and the metal terminal plate. The brush unit is assembled in advance of mounting the brush unit within a blush box. Thereafter, the brush unit is inserted into and held by the brush box through a solder connection between the metal terminal plate and an electrode portion projecting from the brush box. Accordingly, the brush can be easily assembled within the brush box.
