    Abstract: In a curable composition comprising (A) a fluorinated amide compound, (B) a fluorinated organohydrogensiloxane having at least one monovalent perfluorooxyalkyl, monovalent perfluoroalkyl, divalent perfluorooxyalkylene or divalent perfluoroalkylene group, and at least two hydrosilyl groups in a molecule, and (C) a platinum catalyst is blended a tackifier (D) in the form of an organosiloxane having at least one hydrogen atom directly attached to a silicon atom and at least one epoxy or trialkoxysilyl group attached to a silicon atom through a carbon atom or a carbon atom and an oxygen atom. The composition cures into a cured product which exhibits satisfactory properties and firmly bonds to metallic and plastic substrates by brief heating at low temperature.

    Abstract: A room temperature curable composition comprising:(A) a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound having the formula (1):R.sup.2 --NHCO--[Rf.sup.1 --CONH--R.sup.1 --Q--R.sup.1 --NHCO].sub.a --Rf.sup.1 --CONH--R.sup.2 (1)wherein a is an integer of 0 or more, Rf.sup.1 is a perfluoroalkylene group or perfluoropolyether group, R.sup.1 is a divalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.2 is a monovalent aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group, and Q is a particular organosilicon group,(B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two Si--H groups in its molecule, and(C) a platinum family metal compound, the component (B) being contained such that the Si--H groups are contained in an amount of 0.5 to 5.0 moles per mole of the aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group contained in the composition. The composition produces a cured product having good solvent resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance.

    Abstract: A process of producing a perfluorocarboxylic acid fluoride having the formula (1): ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of at least 2, comprising effecting oligomerization of hexafluoropropylene oxide in the presence of an alkali metal fluoride a sulfone or a mixture of a sulfone with an ether having the formula (2):CH.sub.3 O(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m CH.sub.3 (2)where m is an integer of 2 to 6. This process makes it possible to improve production yield of hexafluoropropylene oxide oligomers remarkably, and to raise a reaction temperature for the oligomerization, as compared with conventional methods, thereby shortening reaction time therefor.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an organosiloxane polymer-based composition curable by the mechanism of the hydrosilation reaction between silicon-bonded vinyl groups in a vinylsilyl-terminated perfluoropolyalkylene or perfluoropolyalkylene polyether compound and silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a hydrosilyl-terminated perfluoropolyalkylene or perfluoropolyalkylene polyether compound as promoted by a catalyst. Different from conventional platinum compounds as the catalyst for the hydrosilation reaction, the catalyst in the inventive composition is a complex compound of rhodium such as tris(triphenylphosphine) rhodium chloride, rhodium acetate dimer and rhodium acetylacetonate so that the composition is imparted with greatly improved storage stability without viscosity increase over months at room temperature but without affectibg the curability at an elevated temperature.

The invention also discloses an organopolysiloxane composition containing the organosilicone-treated silica and a process preparing the composition. The organosilicone-treated silica is of high quality, containing no substance with disagreeable smell or corrosiveness which has been by-produced heretofore. Hence, the composition containing the silica is free from pseudocrosslinking such as structuring or crepe hardening.
