  • Publication number: 20040096447
Abstract: A pharmaceutical preparation for preventing and/or treating hypertrophic scars, keloid or chronic arthritic diseases comprising as an effective component an erythropoietin antagonist. More specifically, there is provided a pharmaceutical preparation for preventing and/or treating hypertrophic scars, keloid or chronic arthritic diseases comprising as an effective component an erythropoietin antagonist such as an anti-erythropoietin antibody, an erythropoietin receptor protein, etc. This pharmaceutical preparation has excellent prophylactic and/or therapeutic effects on collagenous hyperproliferation such as hypertrophic scars, keloid, etc., or chronic arthritic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

  • Patent number: 5615956
Abstract: A roller bearing includes an outer ring having a raceway formed on its inner periphery, a plurality of rollers arranged along the raceway at predetermined intervals, and a solid lubricant filling the spaces between the adjacent rollers. The rollers and the solid lubricant form a one-piece body. The problems of large friction between rollers and the skewing of rollers are solved and it is possible to increase the load-bearing capacity of the bearing by using a large number of longer rollers.

  • Patent number: 4198458
Abstract: A stretch-oriented laminate polyester film consisting of two or three layers of polyester films; both polyester film A and polyester film B which form the external layers of the laminate film are composed of a polyester having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.35 to 1.0, wherein the intrinsic viscosity of a polyester forming the polyester film B is 0.02 to 0.5 greater than that of a polyester forming the polyester film A. The laminate film is curled in the widthwise direction with the polyester film B located inwardly of the curl. This film can be used for various applications, especially as a measuring tape, an adhesive tape and a base of a photographic film.
