  • Patent number: 5862427
Abstract: A single-use camera which is loaded with a film cartridge having a light-shielding cover on a film gate thereof. The single-use camera includes: a cover for covering the film cartridge when the cover is at its closed position, a closing member for closing the light-shielding cover of the film cartridge, a stopper for keeping the cover member at the closed position, and a stopper release for releasing the stopper so as to allow the cover to be open while the light-shielding cover is being closed by the closing member.

  • Patent number: 5679420
Abstract: A polymer resin packaging material for a photographic light sensitive material is disclosed, the packaging material comprising at least one heat seal layer consisting of a polymer resin prepared by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of a metallocene catalyst, the polymer resin containing a lower molecular weight polymer in an amount of 3 weight % or less.

  • Patent number: 5462710
Abstract: A manufacturing method forms flanges for use in a film cartridge which are made of resin. Each flange is made of the resin by an injection molding process. Gates to cavities provided in a mold are located such that residual portions of solidified resin at the gates, remaining after the injection molding process has been completed, do not come into contact with a film in the cartridge as the film is moved into and out of the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 4781218
Abstract: A valve assembly for use in a fuel tank of a vehicle which includes a first valve mechanism and a dust preventing member. The valve assembly is secured to the fuel tank and the valve assembly allows selective communication between the inside of the fuel tank and the outside of the fuel tank. The first valve mechanism includes a valve casing and a valve body. When the valve body is positioned at a first position, the valve body is positioned apart from an aperture of the valve casing. As a result, the valve assembly allows the communication between the inside of the fuel tank and the outside of the fuel tank through the aperture of the valve casing. On the other hand, when the valve body is positioned at a second position, the valve body covers the aperture of the valve casing. As a result, the valve assembly prevents communication between the inside of the fuel tank and the outside of the fuel tank. A dust preventing member is secured to an outer surface of the valve casing and includes a wall member.

  • Patent number: 4727350
Abstract: A surge absorber in which an electrically conductive thin film is vaporized on the surface of a ceramic circular cylinder, a micro.groove is trimmed using a laser beam to define a spiral locus on the surface, and a linear.groove is trimmed to intersect the micro.groove to divide the thin film into a plurality of segments, so that overvoltages applied across the two electrodes can be absorbed.

  • Patent number: 4194148
Abstract: A measuring apparatus for measuring the charging degree of a liquid is provided with a casing accommodating an insulating material in the middle of a circulating system in which a base liquid is circulated. The charging degree of a test liquid is measured by the change of a charging quantity when the test liquid is injected by a syringe in the circulating system while a charging quantity which occurs from friction between the insulating material in the casing and the flowing base liquid is detected.
