And the control device displays the plurality of indexes so that the plurality of indexes are arranged in two columns in a vertical direction, indexes that are arranged in one of the two columns and indexes that are arranged in the other of the two columns are mutually displaced in a vertical direction, and the indexes that are arranged in at least the one of the two columns have shapes that project towards the other of the two columns of indexes.

Abstract: The objective of this application is to make it possible to timely acquire the user's evaluation about evaluation-targeted content. A survey window is provided to include a title region, an operation region and a content region. The content region indicates the evaluation-targeted content that the evaluator evaluates. The operation region indicates photographs of agent's faces as help buttons, and feeling input buttons that the evaluator selectively operates according to the emotion experienced when estimating the evaluation-targeted content. The evaluator selectively operates the feeling input buttons when the evaluator experiences an emotion while browsing the evaluation-targeted content to estimate. Thus, the evaluation about the evaluation-targeted content can be more accurately obtained.

Abstract: In a mobile communication using satellites, the present invention allows a mobile to receive a service wherever it is. To do so, when positioning the current location of a mobile using a satellite that sends the GPS signal, the mobile receives an electric wave directly from the satellite for performing positioning when the electric wave can be received directly from the satellite. On the other hand, when an electric wave cannot be received directly from the satellite, the mobile receives an electric wave from a pseudo-satellite or performs positioning using a wireless network between other mobiles and the mobile. Positioning may also be performed using an indoor wireless network.

Abstract: A first home position icon and a plurality of second home position icons, which are first hierarchical level icons, are displayed on a menu item selection screen. When one of the second home position icons is selected, second hierarchical level submenus, as well as the first home position icon and the second home positions, are displayed on the menu item selection screen in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the selected second home position icon is located with respect to the first home position icon. Abstract: A video telephone system which includes a master video telephone terminal (secretary terminal) connected to a communication network and slave video telephone terminals (executive terminals) connected to the master video telephone terminal in which the master video telephone terminal can transfer a call to the slave video telephone terminals. When a call comes into the secretary terminal from a remote terminal on the communication network, a line control section of the secretary terminal sets up a line. Video data and speech data received on the line are decoded by a video signal coding-decoding section and an aural signal coding-decoding section and the decoded signals are output through a display and a speech output device. Sound and images picked up by a microphone and a camera respectively are coded for transmission.
