The present invention provides a method of preventing or treating a condition in a patient, which method comprises administering a therapeutically effective amount of the ORP water solution. Additionally provided is a method of treating impaired or damaged tissue, which method comprises contacting the tissue with a therapeutically effective amount of the ORP water solution. Further provided is a method of disinfecting a surface, which method comprises contacting the surface with an anti-infective amount of the ORP water solution.

Abstract: Lignins have a number of bioactivities such as the inhibition of cellular proliferation and inhibition of thrombus formation which are applicable for their use in coating for medical devices and pharmaceuticals. As such, a composition comprising lignins and methods for making and using the same are provided herein.
