Patent number: 11995787Abstract: A user device for rendering images of a virtual environment includes display. A browser application to establish a connection to a server for receiving streaming image data to render views of a virtual environment as a first layer of a display. Control commands initiated by a user on the user device are transmitted to the server. In response, the user device receives updated streaming image data for updating the displayed first layer. Upon detecting an occurrence of a predetermined event related to the virtual world/control commands, the user device transmits a request with a corresponding event identifier to a content management system (CMS), wherein the browser application and CMS maintain corresponding lists of event identifiers. The CMS then transmits to the user device additional display information external to the virtual environment, which the user device renders as a second partially-transparent layer overlaying the first layer.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2023Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: JOURNEE TECHNOLOGIES GmbHInventors: Christian Holger Loclair, Thomas Johann Lorenz

Patent number: 8115648Abstract: The invention relates to a seat occupancy sensor (10) comprising at least two switch elements (12, 14) which can be activated by pressure. Said elements can be associated with the surface of a seat and are arranged at a certain distance from each other in such a manner that a first switch element (12) is associated with a first area of the seat and a second switch element (14) is associated with a second area of the seat. According to the invention, the first and second switch elements (12, 14) are connected to each other in such a manner that a logical AND-linkage is produced. The first and second switch elements are, for example, serially connected in a particularly simple embodiment of the invention.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2004Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignees: IEE International Electronics & Engineering S.A., Bayerische Motoren Werke AGInventors: Holger Lorenz, Karsten Henze

Publication number: 20080129516Abstract: A seat sensor comprises at least two switching elements which are connected in series between two connection lines, each of said connection lines comprising a first end for connecting said connection line to a control unit and a second end. Said at least two switching elements are interconnected by means of an interconnection line having a first and a second end. According to the invention each of said first end and said second end of said interconnection line is connected to one of said connection lines by means of a resistive element.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2005Publication date: June 5, 2008Applicant: IEE INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONICS & ENGINEERING S.A.Inventor: Holger Lorenz

Patent number: 7343807Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure sensor in the form of a film, comprising a first carrier film and a second carrier film which are arranged at a certain distance from each other by means of a spacer. The distance holder comprises at least one recess which defines an active region of the pressure sensor wherein both of the carrier films are arranged opposite each other, also comprising a first electrode and a second electrode and a layer made of pressure-sensitive material. The first electrode, the second electrode and the layer made of pressure-sensitive material are disposed in the active region on the first and/or second carrier film such that when the carrier films are pressed together through the pressure sensitive layer, electric contact is produced between the first and the second electrode.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2004Date of Patent: March 18, 2008Assignee: IEE International Electronics & Engineering S.A.Inventor: Holger Lorenz
