  • Patent number: 8102278
Abstract: Described is a sensor unit having a measured signal receiver, which registers a measured signal, an A/D converter for digitizing the measured signal, a transceiver device for wireless data communication to an environmental device, and a processor. The processor is a control processor for activating the measured signal receiver, the A/D converter, and the transceiver device. The digitized measured signal is transmitted directly via the transceiver device to the environmental device, without the complex and performance-intensive and therefore costly analysis occurring in the sensor unit.

Date of Patent: January 24, 2012
    Assignee: VEGA Grieshaber KG
Inventors: Thomas Deck, Jürgen Skowaisa, Holger Sack, Robert Laun
  • Patent number: 8084740
Abstract: A measuring device with a two-wire supply for radiometric filling level measuring or density measuring of a feed material with a processor which is designed to change from an active mode to a power-saving mode.

  • Patent number: 7770858
Abstract: A mounting bracket is adapted for mounting a field device, as well as to a field device that for the purpose of attachment to a mounting surface comprises such a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket comprises (a) a first bracket strap which includes a first rotary bearing, (b) a second bracket strap, spaced apart from the first bracket strap by a space, including a second rotary bearing and (c) at least one movable lock on one of the two bracket straps. The rotary bearings are designed to articulate on two opposing sides of a field device that may be arranged in the space so that the field device may be rotated, on an imaginary axis that extends through the space, from a first angle position to a second angle position. The lock is designed to engage the field device in order to in this way resist a torque of the field device in that the lock converts the torque to a pair of forces which is removable by way of one of the rotary bearings and by way of the lock itself.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 10, 2010
    Assignee: Vega Grieshaber KG
Inventors: Josef Fehrenbach, Klaus Kienzle, Christian Sum, Juergen Motzer, Thomas Deck, Juergen Skowaisa, Holger Sack

  • Publication number: 20060049961
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensor unit (1) having a measured signal receiver (4), which registers a measured signal (9), an A/D converter (5) for digitizing the measured signal (9), a transceiver device (6) for wireless data communication to an environmental device (2), and a processor (7). The processor (7) is a control processor for activating the measured signal receiver, the A/D converter, and the transceiver device. The digitized measured signal (9) is transmitted directly via the transceiver device (6) to the environmental device (2), without the complex and performance-intensive and therefore costly analysis occurring in the sensor unit (1).
