  • Patent number: 11911735
Abstract: The invention relates to a multiple-chamber container (1, 1*) for storing and mixing a multi-component liquid coating or adhesive system (M), comprising a first chamber (10) for a first mixing component (B) and at least one other chamber (20) for another mixing component (H), the first chamber (10) and the at least one other chamber (20) being separated by at least one separating wall (30) in liquid-tight fashion and the separating wall (30) comprising a pierceable separating layer (40). The multiple-chamber container further comprises at least one piercing element (50) for piercing the pierceable separating layer (40) in such a way that the first and the one other mixing component (B, H) mix in the first or the at least one other chamber (10, 20). The multiple-chamber container (1, 1*) is characterized in that the at least one other chamber (20) is coaxial to the first chamber (10), the separating layer (40) being partially formed in the separating wall (30).

  • Publication number: 20030051856
Abstract: A method for producing casting molds, such as cores or core assemblies used in foundry practice, wherein molding material, preferably molding sand, is injected or shot into a molding chamber via a gaseous flow medium, preferably air, under a predeterminable pressure. The shot and resulting solidified mold is deaerated, then the tool is opened, and the solidified mold is removed. The shooting process and/or deaeration process are controlled via detected and, if need be, prepared process parameters according to a predeterminable specification.

  • Patent number: 4815636
Abstract: Hot melt guns comprising a melt body having a melt chamber and a mechanism for feeding a rod of solid hot melt material to the chamber for melting and dispensing. The feeding mechanism comprises a carriage mounted for movement towards and away from the melt body, a clamp member pivotally mounted on the carriage and a trigger to cause the clamp member to grip the rod and feed it into the melt chamber. The clamp member has two pivot pins projecting from opposite sides, each pin having an arcuate coaxial bearing portion and at least one flat face. The pins are received in bearing openings defined by circular bearing surfaces in the carriage, Assembly openings are provided in each bearing surface extending around a minor arc and sufficiently wide for the pins to pass through when the flat faces are suitably oriented relative to the openings.
