    Abstract: An interface assembly between a heat pump and an elongated ground heat exchanger. First and second valve means are connected to opposed end portions of the ground heat exchanger. A conduit of a coolant-to-heat transfer liquid heat exchanger in the heat pump, a tank column, and pump means between the second valve means and the first valve means are connected in series between the first and second valve means.
