  • Patent number: 10682896
Abstract: A method and system of controlling an engine for vehicle interior heating is provided. The method includes performing a first engine control when the engine is not in an engine-on state for vehicle driving, to perform heating control for interior heating at a predetermined range of a reference coolant temperature. Additionally, the method includes performing a second engine control when the engine is in an engine-on state for vehicle driving, to prolong an engine-on time for vehicle driving by setting a minimum value of the range of the reference coolant temperature to a lower value and setting a maximum value of the range of the reference coolant temperature to a higher value and to determine a point of time of engine-off operation based on a real-time lock up time and an average lock up time of an engine clutch for vehicle driving.

  • Patent number: 10407051
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling driving of a hybrid vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a state identifying unit that identifies a driving state of a vehicle based on driving information of the vehicle during lock-up driving of the vehicle and a determination unit that determines whether the identified driving state satisfies a preset lock-up charge driving mode entering condition and determines a deceleration volition of a driver based on the identified driving state. When the identified driving state satisfies the lock-up charge driving mode entering condition a driving controller interrupts the vehicle from entering into a lock-up charge driving mode when the driver has a deceleration intention.

  • Patent number: 9987946
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a SOC of a hybrid vehicle comprises a data detector for detecting data including a SOC of a battery, a vehicle speed, an amount of operating of a brake pedal sensor, an amount of operating of an acceleration pedal sensor, and a driving state of a vehicle to control a SOC of a hybrid vehicle. Included are a correction value calculating unit configured for calculating a correction value of the SOC based on the data; a SOC calculating unit configured for calculating a virtual center SOC based on the correction value of the SOC and an actual SOC; and an engine-on/off determining unit configured for determining whether an engine is turned on or turned off based on the virtual center SOC.

  • Publication number: 20160368500
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling entry to a full load mode of an engine in a hybrid electric vehicle including: determining an anti-jerk torque margin value using an anti-jerk torque value monitored in real-time; determining a filter gain value selected from a filter gain command table; and determining whether to activate a full load mode of the engine based on a value obtained by subtracting the determined anti-jerk torque margin value from an assisting torque value of a motor of the vehicle that assists an output of the engine.

  • Patent number: 9037364
Abstract: A method and system for controlling anti-jerk in order to reduce vibration of a vehicle is provided. More specifically, a rotation speed (?m) of a driving source device of the vehicle is received and a speed (?lwh, ?rwh) of a left wheel and a right wheel connected to the driving source device is detected by a sensor respectively. Then, a controller, which receives this data, calculates an average speed (?fwh) based on the detected left and right wheel speeds, produces a virtual speed through interpolation of the detected left and right wheel speeds and the average speed based on a predetermined sampling value, and calculates a model speed (?ref) based on the detected left and right wheel speeds, the average speed, the virtual speed, and a final gear ratio (?j; where j is the number of the gear) considering a final reduction gear ratio (FGR) and a current gear of the vehicle.
