The collaborated shopping event is linked to a cyber shopping service. The at least one group is scored based upon participation of participants in the collaborative shopping event. The participants in the collaborative shopping event are modified based upon the score.

Abstract: A charger circuit for providing a charging power to a battery includes a power delivery unit and a power conversion circuit. The power conversion circuit includes at least one conversion switch coupled to an inductor, a front stage switch conducting a DC power generated by the power delivery unit to generate a mid-stage power, and a direct charging switch. In a switching charging mode, the conversion switch converts the mid-stage power to the charging current onto a charging node. In a direct charging mode, the power delivery unit regulates the DC current, and the front stage switch and the direct charging switch conduct the DC current onto the charging node. The body diodes of the front stage switch and the direct charging switch are reversely coupled, and the body diodes of the front stage switch and the conversion switch are reversely coupled, for blocking the parasitic body current.

Abstract: An improved cell culture monitoring system and method that detects cell growth and concentration in a dynamic environment of incubator/shaker. In order to reduce power consumption and make a wireless cell culture monitoring system practical, several methods of temperature compensation are used to replace a method of controlling the temperature of sensing module. Furthermore its power consumption can be significantly reduced by using an adaptive and synchronized light pulse detection technique.

There is further built from purchase transaction data and data representing a physical store layout, a member's procurement journey. A membership matching engine analyzes the spatio-temporal occurrences and sequences used to build up the feasible link and their binding possibility. In addition, the system can also use historical data and update the linkage and binding possibility adaptively. The system automatically detects the membership card and device matching without asking customer to perform the binding manually.

Abstract: A system and method that facilitates urban traffic state detection based on support vector machine (SVM) and multilayer perceptron (MLP) classifiers is provided. Moreover, the SVM and MLP classifiers are fused into a cascaded two-tier classifier that improves the accuracy of the traffic state classification. To further improve the accuracy, the cascaded two-tier classifier (e.g., MLP-SVM), a single SVM classifier and a single MLP classifier are fused to determine a final decision for a traffic state. In addition, fusion strategies are employed during training and implementation phases to compensate for data acquisition and classification errors caused by noise and/or outliers.
