The plurality of conductive patches may be arranged as a pattern, and thus, when the plurality of conductive patches touch a touch screen of a target device, the pattern may be used as a code for authentication or control of the target device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a password management apparatus and method, a certification information storage apparatus and a certification information management method. The password management method of accessing and managing desired passwords through a portable password management apparatus and a terminal on which a password management program is installed, includes a first step of executing the password management program on the management terminal, a second step of receiving a user authentication number from the management apparatus, and comparing the first authentication number with a user authentication number previously stored in the management terminal, thereby authenticating whether a user is a legitimate user, and a third step of, only if the user is authenticated as a legitimate user, receiving a password list from the management apparatus and outputting the received password list onto a screen.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biometric information recognition credit card system and credit card scanner. The biometric information of a credit card holder is scanned when using a credit card. The scanned biometric information is compared with separately stored biometric information. A part of the biometric information may be stored in the credit card. A credit card scanner transmits the biometric information and credit card information to a server only when the part of the biometric information stored in the credit card and the part of the scanned biometric information are identical with each other. A separated biometric information management center separately stores the biometric information of each credit card holder. When the separately stored biometric information and the scanned biometric information are identical with each other, the use of the credit card is approved.

Abstract: Finger print codes of administrators are registered to card keys and locks. One of the administrators assigns a card key to a lock and enables the card key. An user registers his linger print to the enabled card key. The user inputs his finger print to the card key whenever he wants to open a lock. The card key transmits the finger print codes of administrators to the lock when the inputted finger print matches the registered finger print of the user. The lock compares the received finger print codes with the registered finger print codes. When any of the received codes matches any of the registered linger print codes, the lock is opened.
