  • Patent number: 6145359
Abstract: A device for forming a cutting blade for prints is disclosed. The device of this invention forms cutting blades by appropriately bending and cutting a metal strip into desired blades through integrated work regardless of a difference in the size of metal strips. The device is also provided with changeable jigs, thus being capable of forming bridge notches having different intervals, widths and configurations. The device has one vertically movable bending pin and one swing cutter. The bending pin is capable of quickly bending a metal strip into a desired configuration, while the swing cutter finely and precisely cuts the metal strip into cutting blades. The device also quickly produces high precision cutting blades, thus improving productivity and reducing the cost of the cutting blades.

  • Patent number: 5706438
Abstract: A data transmission device for converting parallel data into serial data and setting the transmission rate the converted data according to an arbitrary value of time data. The data transmission device includes a first input latch for latching N-bit parallel time data in response to a first input enable signal, and a transmission clock generator for generating a transmission clock signal by counting a system clock signal according to the latched N-bit parallel time data. It also includes a second input latch for latching N-bit parallel transmission data in response to a second input enable signal, and an output selection signal generator for counting the transmission clock signal in response to the second input enable signal and generating the counted value as an output selection signal. Further, the device includes a serial-to-parallel converter for converting the latched N-bit parallel transmission data signal into an (N+2)-bit serial data output signal in response to the output selection signal.

  • Patent number: 5672838
Abstract: A video-song accompaniment apparatus displaying a lyrics signal sequence in accordance with an accompaniment signal sequence includes a controller responsive to lyrics display control information which is loaded on a channel message of a selected instrument of the accompaniment information. The lyrics display control information has a display flag for instructing output of the lyrics for a next measure by a lyrics signal generator, a color conversion flag permitting successive conversion of the characters of a lyrics signal sequence output by the lyrics signal generator from one color to another, and an erasure flag for instructing erasure of the previously-displayed lyrics output by the lyrics signal generator. Preferably, the display of the lyrics signal sequence is controlled according to the lyrics display control information read out of an accompaniment information memory by the controller during reproduction.

  • Patent number: 5574239
Abstract: A method of displaying a title and lyrics of the first measure of a reserved song before the end of a currently performed song includes steps for calculating remaining time by comparing total performance time with an elapsed time of a currently performed song, obtaining a title and lyrics information for the first measure of the reserved song responsive to a reserved song number when the remaining time is less than a predetermined value, and displaying the title and the lyrics information superimposed on a background image associated with the currently performed song. The method for displaying title and lyrics information using a video-song accompaniment apparatus enhances user convenience by displaying the title and associated lyrics for the first measure of a reserved song for verification before a currently performed song ends. A video-song accompaniment apparatus capable of performing this method is also described.

  • Patent number: 5561649
Abstract: A disk recording medium includes a lead-in area, a program area and a lead-out area. The program area includes: a first track on which a plurality of data signals each of which has a different index from the others is loaded; a second track on which a plurality of programs is loaded, whereby the plurality of programs consists of the sequential combination of the indices of at least one data signal among the plurality of data signals and each program has a different index from the others; a third track on which a data index table comprising the indices of the respective data signals and initial address information is loaded; and a fourth track on which a program index table comprising the indices of the respective programs and initial address information is loaded.

  • Patent number: 5546368
Abstract: A disk recording medium includes a lead-in area, a program area and a lead-out area. More specifically, the program area includes a first track on which a plurality of data signals, each of which has a different index from all of the others, is loaded, a second track on which a plurality of programs are loaded, a third track on which a data index table including the indices of the respective data signals and initial address information are loaded, and a fourth track on which a program index table including the indices of the respective programs and initial address information are loaded. The lead-in area is loaded with a table of contents consisting of the initial address information and a plurality of pointers, each of which is different from all of the others each of which designates the respective tracks of the program area and the initial position of the lead-out area.
