    Abstract: A reflector for flat panel display device. The device is constructed having two sidewalls and a base wall defining with the sidewalls a receiving chamber having a substantially U-shaped cross section for holding a light source. The sidewalls and the base wall each have a reflecting surface adapted to reflect light from the light source installed in the reflector. The sidewalls each have a protruded flange (block) respectively disposed at an outer side for grounding with a grounding metal frame. The protruded flange (block) of each sidewall is not disposed with the respective sidewall on the same plane.

    Abstract: A reflecting apparatus for a backlight module of a plane display is disclosed. The backlight module includes a light guide distal from the reflecting apparatus, and a plurality of diffusers. The apparatus comprises a light source, a reflector, and two substantially parallel sets of partially overlapped light deflectors wherein a gap exists between either two adjacent light deflectors of the same set or one light deflector and the reflector. A portion of emitted light is directed to the light guide after being reflected from the reflector. The remaining portion of light is directed to the light guide either after it has been deflected by the light deflectors or deflected by the light deflectors prior to being reflected by the reflector. Parallel light received at the light guide is deflected to the plane display as a backlight source of the plane display after passing the diffusers.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a reflector configuration of a back-light module, and particularly to the coupling of a lamp reflector and a lamp cover of the back-light module. The lamp reflector in the present invention wraps a lamp around and is fastened on the light-guiding plate. A lamp cover is fastened onto the light-guiding plate, and contacts without wrapping around the lamp reflector.

    Abstract: A mounting structure for lamp wires of a back light module to mount at least two lamp wires extending from a plastic frame. The mounting structure includes a fixed bar portion and a tabling portion connected together by a connecting portion to form a lamp channel therebetween. The connecting portion has a wire-fixing hole to fix one of the lamp wires. The lamp wires are induced into the lamp wire channel. A retaining clamp portion is extended from the tabling portion and overhung the plastic frame. The retaining clamp portion and the tabling portion have a wire clip hole perpendicularly connected to the lamp channel and a clamp opening connected to the wire clip hole to fix the lamp wires in the wire clip hole.

    Abstract: A backlight module is employed to provide a light source for LCD panel. The backlight module has a wedge-shaped distributor, three light pipes and two reflective arcs. The distributor is modified from rectangular-shaped to wedge-shaped so as to reduce its weight. Three light pipes are divided into two groups. One group having only one light pipe is positioned at first edge of the wedge-shaped distributor while the other group having two pipes is positioned at an edge opposite the first edge. The two groups of light pipes are rounded up respectively by two reflective arcs.
