Patent number: 11859615Abstract: A scroll compressor comprises a partition plate, a compression mechanism, a capacity adjustment device and a sealing assembly. The sealing assembly isolates a back pressure chamber from a high-pressure space and low-pressure space. A first sealing portion is formed between the sealing assembly and the partition plate. The capacity adjustment device is provided with a variable pressure chamber and configured to establish or break the communication between a first compression chamber and the low pressure space by changing the pressure in the variable pressure chamber. According to the compressor, requirements for pressure in the back pressure chamber of the compressor in different load conditions can be balanced, the axial force on the compression mechanism can be reduced, the power consumption of the scroll compressor can be lowered, the system performance can be improved, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2020Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Copeland Climate Technologies (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.Inventors: Chun Yang, Hongcai Zheng, Hongfei Shu

Patent number: 11767758Abstract: Provided are a fluid circulation system and a method for operating same, a computer-readable medium, and a controller. The fluid circulation system comprises: a scroll expander, and an external fluid circulation path, which comprises a high-pressure fluid pipe and a low-pressure fluid pipe. The operation method comprises the following steps: before fluid is supplied to the scroll expander, making the fluid pressure in the high-pressure fluid pipe higher than the fluid pressure in the low-pressure fluid pipe by a pre-determined pressure difference; and after the pre-determined pressure difference is realized, starting the scroll expander and supplying fluid to the scroll expander. According to the present disclosure, the technical problem of a scroll expander being unable to be normally started and work can be avoided, and the invention is simple, practical, convenient, and easily implemented.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2020Date of Patent: September 26, 2023Assignee: Emerson Climate Technologies (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.Inventors: Donghui Yang, Hongfei Shu

Patent number: 11519269Abstract: An expander and a fluid circulation system comprising same are disclosed. The expander comprises a housing, an expansion mechanism, an exhaust pipe, an oil sump and a lubricant discharge channel. The expansion mechanism is provided in the housing to expand a high-pressure fluid into a low-pressure fluid. The exhaust pipe discharges the low-pressure fluid out of the expander and comprises an end portion assembled in a first opening of the housing and provided with an exhaust port; the low-pressure fluid enters the exhaust pipe via the exhaust port. The oil sump stores a lubricant in the housing. The lubricant discharge channel discharges the lubricant in the oil sump into the exhaust pipe and/or an external system pipeline and comprises an inlet end having an inlet located at a predetermined oil level of the oil sump and an outlet end having an outlet.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2019Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Emerson Climate Technologies (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hongfei Shu, Donghui Yang
