  • Publication number: 20170243569
Abstract: Disclosed is a new-type native American flute with a new finger hole design. One end of a flute head is provided with a mouthpiece, and the other end of the flute head is connected with a flute body. The front of the flute head is provided with a flute nose and a sound outlet. The flute body is provided with 7-10 finger holes. The finger holes may include main finger holes and an auxiliary finger hole, and the auxiliary finger hole is on the side of the main finger holes. The main finger holes include front main finger holes and a back main finger hole. Arranging an auxiliary finger hole on the surface of a native American flute in the present disclosure may broaden the range, increase altered tones as well, and further realize fine tuning for the altered tones.

  • Patent number: 8527667
Abstract: An apparatus includes a socket, a computer-readable medium, and a controller. The socket is capable of interfacing with different types of storage medium. The computer-readable medium is operable for storing a computer-executable universal driver associated with a first operation mode and compatible with each of the types of storage medium, and for storing a computer-executable dedicated driver associated with a second operation mode and compatible with only a subset of the types of storage medium. The controller is operable for selecting a selected driver from the universal driver and the dedicated driver if a storage medium is inserted into the socket and for operating in a corresponding operation mode to exchange data information with the storage medium according to the selected driver. The selected driver includes the dedicated driver if the storage medium is a member of the subset and otherwise the selected driver includes the universal driver.

  • Patent number: 8466974
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling an image sensor includes loading an image file having data sets associated with multiple image sensors respectively, identifying the image sensor if identification data included in one of the data sets matches to the image sensor, and configuring the image sensor according to configuration data included in the data set matching to the image sensor. The identification data indicates an identity of the image sensor. The configuration data indicates operation parameters of the image sensor.

  • Publication number: 20110072168
Abstract: An electronic system includes an input/output (I/O) interface and a controller coupled to the I/O interface and a storage medium. The controller can select an operating mode from multiple operating modes based on a type of the storage medium. At least two of the operating modes have different data transfer rates. The controller can operate in the selected operating mode to transfer data between the I/O interface and the storage medium according to a data transfer rate of the selected operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20090077297
Abstract: A method for configuring a computer system. The method includes allocating a first plurality of default resources to a plurality of devices of the computer system. Then a PCIe-CardBus controller in the computer system is reconfigured with a plurality of allocable resources that are available to the PCIe-CardBus controller. The method further comprises enumerating the plurality of devices of the computer system by an Operating System (OS) of the computer system for detecting a plurality of un-configured devices in the computer system. According to the enumeration, the OS allocates a second plurality of default resources to the plurality of un-configured devices.

  • Publication number: 20080156989
Abstract: In one embodiment, a motion recognition system includes a camera which can sense a signal indicating a position of a moving object and generate a monitoring information of the signal to a controller. The controller coupled to the camera can calculate a plurality of parameters (e.g., a velocity of the moving object, a motion vector of the moving object, and a flicker frequency of the signal) according to the monitoring information. The controller can generate motion data of the moving object according to the plurality of parameters and compare the motion data with at least one motion data reference according to a data matching algorithm, and generate a motion matching signal according to a result of the comparison. As such, a functional module coupled to the controller can receive the matching signal and perform at least one function according to the matching signal.
