  • Patent number: 11718413
Abstract: A cockpit pedestal and an aircraft with a cockpit pedestal. The cockpit pedestal includes an integrally-formed frame including an instrument receiving portion defining a plurality of compartments for receiving instruments therein; and a plurality of legs supporting the instrument receiving portion, the plurality of legs being integrally formed with the instrument receiving portion, the plurality of legs being adapted for transferring a load of the plurality of instruments from the instrument receiving portion to a floor of the aircraft cockpit when the cockpit pedestal and the instruments are installed in the aircraft cockpit. In some versions the cockpit pedestal includes a conductive layer electrically grounding the instruments in the cockpit.

  • Publication number: 20220063749
Abstract: A device and a method of using the same, the chain cleaning device forming a bath-like cavity in the lowest point of the chain travel, around the rear sprocket of a motorcycle or another rotating part of a chain-driven mechanism. This device allows for the chain to be completely or partially submerged in chain cleaning liquid, allowing for best coverage of chain cleaning liquid on the chain, a more efficient and thorough cleaning and minimizing the waste of the liquid and the pollution.

  • Patent number: 11013335
Abstract: An expandable seating furniture comprising a center section for providing a first seating position, the center section providing center chair legs and at least one lateral section, concealable into the center section, each of the at least one lateral section being laterally expandable for providing one or more additional seating positions. The center section conceals one or more lateral chair legs, and may also conceal back support and/or armrest, for each of the at least one lateral section when the expandable seating furniture is unexpanded. The lateral section(s) may be concealable into the center section as interleaved sliding sections (e.g., along a seating plane and/or vertically).

  • Publication number: 20200298952
Abstract: A window includes a first transparent pane having a first surface and a second surface and a second transparent pane having a third surface and a fourth surface. The third surface faces the second surface and is separated from the first transparent pane by a distance. The window also includes an optical enhancer positioned at least one of between the second surface and the third surface, or adjacent to the fourth surface. The first transparent pane transmits light therethrough as a first image with a first image area. The optical enhancer receives the first image, modifies the first image, and produces a second image with a second image area larger than the first image area.

  • Patent number: 9156143
Abstract: A ratcheting tool and a method of using the same, the ratcheting tool being formed by a handle, a substantially perpendicular cylinder and a ratcheting mechanism. The cylinder is adapted to be positioned over a nut or bolt head and comprises jaws adapted to engage the nut or bolt head when pushed laterally theretowards. When the arm is squeezed with the handle, a slider block is pushed towards the nut or bolt head causing the jaws to laterally engage the nut or bolt head. The ratcheting mechanism is between the cylinder and the jaws and allows torque to be applied to the nut or bolt head in a desired direction when the handle is moved in a circular motion around the main axis of the cylinder. The jaws are allowed to rotate within the cylinder in a direction opposite to the desired direction.

  • Patent number: 8910500
Abstract: An end plunger for end feeding during a hydroforming process (such as tube hydroforming) has at least one releasable seal. The effect of the releasable seal is that it avoids pressurizing the blank in a nip area, thereby reducing friction and wear, and allowing increased end feeding with a given end feeding force. The releasable seal may be actuable, for sealing or releasing. The plunger may be modular or monolithic. A kit and method may incorporate the end plunger.
