  • Patent number: 6702534
Abstract: A spreader dowel includes a sleeve having an area formed with an internal first thread for engagement by a screw. The sleeve has opposite ends and includes first longitude slots on one end for defining an expansion zone. A spreader piece formed with a conical portion is connected to the screw and spreads the expansion zone, when the screw is inserted. The sleeve has second longitude slots which extend inwardly from an end face on the other end. In the region of the second longitude slots toward the end face, the sleeve has a zone which is formed with an internal second thread defined by a thread diameter which is smaller than a thread diameter of the screw while having a same pitch as the thread diameter of the screw, or is threadless with a clear diameter which is smaller than an outer diameter of the screw.

  • Publication number: 20030026673
Abstract: A connection device including an expander sleeve (1) which has slots (10) extending axially over a partial region, and an expander cone (3) which is introduced in the region of the slots (10) into the expander sleeve (1), is designed so that the expander cone (3) is connected by a form-fit or friction-fit connection to the expander sleeve (1) before the connection device is mounted.

  • Publication number: 20020048496
Abstract: A dowel includes a dowel component having at least one longitudinal slot and formed with a cylindrical internal thread; and a spreader screw for threaded engagement in the internal thread of the dowel component. The internal thread has at least one expansion zone defined by a thread diameter which is constantly smaller than the thread diameter of the spreader screw, wherein the expansion zone has a thread pitch which is the same as a thread pitch of the spreader screw.
