  • Patent number: 6267207
Abstract: An apparatus for actuating a brake of vehicles, in particular a parking brake, has an electric motor and a coupling element which is movement-coupled with the motor drive shaft of the latter, is linearly movable, can be connected to a brake tensioning mechanism and is transferred by the energized electric motor out of a braking position into a release position. A blocking device provides the block on movement of the coupling element, at least in the release position. A spring energy store is movement-coupled with the coupling element such that, in the release position of the coupling element, the store assumes a position to store spring energy and, when the block on movement is overridden, the coupling element is transferred into the braking position by the released spring energy.

  • Patent number: 6164420
Abstract: A locking arrangement for a vehicle in which a first locking element is non-rotatably connected with a vehicle wheel, and a triggerable second locking element is releasably engaged with the first locking element. The first locking element is a brake disk provided with recesses. The second locking element is a locking pawl which can be operated by a triggerable operating element against the restoring force of a restoring device and engages in the recess of the brake disk.

  • Patent number: 6065940
Abstract: A diaphragm dosing pump has a dosing chamber, which has an inlet and a pressure-side outlet, as well as a dosing diaphragm operated by a stroke drive, and a delivery chamber upstream of the dosing chamber has a suction connection for the medium to be dosed and a pressure connection, as well as a delivery diaphragm operated by the stroke drive. The delivery chamber, is connected by means of its pressure connection to a receiving container connected on the outlet side to the dosing chamber inlet.

  • Patent number: 5671873
Abstract: A proportioning apparatus for viscous materials comprises a proportioning cylinder which has an inlet and an outlet. The proportioning cylinder houses a delivery piston actuable by way of an actuating rod. The latter is drivable by an electric motor, which is connected with the actuating rod by way of a crank drive.

  • Patent number: 5069115
Abstract: The invention relates to an exhaust-gas removal duct formed from individual axially mutually adjacent sections for track-forming lanes, having a longitudinal slot closed by a pair of elastic sealing lips. Each section has two channel-shaped shells which are joined leaktightly along a common longitudinal edge. One yoke sheet is, furthermore, provided per section, surrounds the section up to the longitudinal slot, transversely to the longitudinal axis of the removal duct, and is connected to the channel-shaped shells only in the region of the longitudinal edge and in the region of the sealing lips.

  • Patent number: 4567817
Abstract: An exhaust-gas offtake for a track-guided vehicle propelled by combustion-energy, the exhaust gas being led into a force-ventilated waste gas duct located above the vehicle, which is anchored to the roof of a tunnel along the route followed. The exhaust pipe of the vehicle extends vertically through the vehicle interior, up to a point above the roof, and is surrounded by a protective tube. A collecting funnel is located on the vehicle roof, which funnel overlaps the end of the exhaust pipe, possesses a transfer pipe with a boat-shaped cross-section and, pivotably mounted on suspension elements, is resiliently directed into an upwards-pointed position. This arrangement enables small horizontal and vertical movements of the vehicle body to be compensated in relation to the tunnel waste gas duct.

  • Patent number: 4539897
Abstract: An exhaust duct system for a track-guided vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine having a fixed section extending through the interior of the vehicle and a section projecting above the roof of the vehicle for channeling exhaust gases into a force-vented exhaust channel. Transverse movements of the vehicle, with respect to the exhaust channel, are allowed for by providing for lateral movement of the transfer pipe on the roof-side section of the exhaust duct system. A connecting element forms a transition between the transfer pipe and the pipe ends of the fixed exhaust duct section. This connecting element is sealed with respect to the surroundings and is movable about a longitudinally extending pivot axis. The connecting element can be a pleated metal bellows or two pipe shells arranged concentrically to each other and to the pivot axis.
