Abstract: An electrical contact (1) is shown having a conductor connection region (2) for connection to an electrical conductor wire and a contact-making region (3) for making contact with a complementary contact pin is specified, the contact-making region essentially being designed in the form of a box with two side walls (4, 5), a top wall (6) and a bottom wall (7), the bottom wall (7) and the top wall (6) having a different width in the direction perpendicular to the plug-in direction, in such a way that the side walls (4, 5) run in a manner inclined with respect to the bottom and top walls (6, 7) and with respect to one another.

Abstract: An electrical connector with a family seal and a connector housing, which has an outer collar and at least one chamber for an electrical contact the chamber surrounded by an outer rim between the two collars and a plate-like region with at least one through-opening located inside the inner collar, the outer rim and the plate-like region being connected to each other by a connecting plate, which extends over the inner collar.

Abstract: Electrical connectors having actuating slides, for connection to a second complementary connector, the actuating slide being attachable to an outer housing part of the first connector and the actuating slide interacting with the second connector, are known. The actuating slides often have a U-shaped design and are fastened to the outer housing part of the first connector. In order to ensure correct functioning of the actuating slide with the first connector, it is necessary for the actuating slide to be pushed onto the housing of the first connector from a specific direction. In order to achieve this, the outer housing part has guide means for guiding the actuating slide and the actuating slide has corresponding complementary means. The guide means and/or the actuating slide are/is configured in such a way that the actuating slide and the outer housing part can be joined together only from one side of the housing part.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle contact for engaging a complementary tab terminal (not shown) comprising a contact portion and a conductor engaging portion, where the contact portion includes a body portion and at least three contact arms including a pair of spaced-apart outer contact arms extending from the body with an inner contact arm extending therebetween and the contact arms have contact surfaces thereupon for engaging a common side of the tab terminal, the receptacle contact being characterized in that the inner contact arm is supported therealong independently of the adjacent outer contact arm by a transverse support rail to provide the inner contact arm with enhanced stiffness. The contact being of simple construction, with multiple connection points established essentially independently, where the inner contact arms are independently stiffened.
