  • Patent number: 8527318
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing marketing campaigns. A communication module is capable of executing a first step of a marketing campaign, and is capable of handling customer responses to the marketing campaign received through a variety of communication channels, regardless of which channel was used for contacting the customers. Customers may respond by email, telephone, fax, in person, through an internet site, by letter or by other modes of communication. An object generation module generates an object containing information from the response, uses the information to match the response with the marketing campaign, and links the object to the marketing campaign. A person may override the object generation module's matching by inputting the identity of another marketing campaign for matching. A campaign management module receives the object from the object generation module. A user may modify how the system matches responses with marketing campaigns.

  • Patent number: 6747573
Abstract: An apparatus and method for generating coded high-frequency signals, having a converter, which converts non-electrical primary energy available from the surroundings into electrical energy, an element with a nonlinear characteristic curve, which is coupled to the converter, and a coding device coupled to the element with a nonlinear characteristic curve.

  • Patent number: 5453738
Abstract: A remote-control system permits user definable grouping of transmitters, which send wireless messages encoded with transmitted key addresses, and of receiving decoders, which are coupled via a bus to a plurality of actuators. The decoders each include a corresponding programmable storage device which can be programmably occupied as an association table, and assign in a freely definable manner assigned key addresses, which are oriented according to transmitter command keys, to each transmitted key address. Each assigned key address designates a particular actuator so that desired groups of actuators may be controlled with a single message.

  • Patent number: 4413460
Abstract: A do-it-yourself spiral staircase has a central column (1) made of a hollow steel tube or pipe, which extends between a support (2; 7; 16) on a lower floor and a landing plate or end tread (3) on an upper floor of a residence or office building. The individual treads (4) are distributed along the column between spacer sleeves (5; 5'). The steel tube or pipe is divided into two tubular sections, of which one tubular section (11; 15; 15'; 20) has an excess length and can be shortened at its free end for adjustment to the required height of the spiral staircase to the size required at the construction site, whereas the other, ready-made tubular section (10; 18) is telescopically attached to the tubular section which has been shortened. At least two mutually aligned or registering bores are provided. Each bore passes radially through its respective telescopically engaging tubular parts.
