Abstract: Mixtures crosslinkable by photopolymerization and based on binders, photopolymerizable monomers compatible therewith and photoinitiators, contain as binders copolymers prepared from (a.sub.1) from 30 to 70% by weight of ethylene, (a.sub.2) from 5 to 40% by weight of (meth)acrylic acid and (a.sub.3) from 5 to 50% by weight of one or more vinyl ester, vinyl ether, (meth)acrylic acid ester and/or (meth)acrylamide.

Abstract: Polymers which have been modified by a polymer-analogous reaction, in the acid form or in the form of their salts, consist of a copolymer of ethylene, (meth)acrylic acid and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of vinyl esters, vinyl ethers, (meth)acrylates and (meth)acrylamides, and olefinically unsaturated side radicals which have been introduced into the said copolymer by a polymer-analogous reaction and are of the general formula I ##STR1## where X is hydroxyl, amino or mercapto, Y is an ester, amide, ether or C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 -alkylene group and R is hydrogen or methyl.

Abstract: Non-tacky, smooth, structureless surfaces of photopolymer relief printing plates for flexographic printing, whose relief layers are prepared in a conventional manner by exposing the photopolymerizable relief-forming layers of flexographic printing plates imagewise to actinic light and washing out the unpolymerized, unexposed areas with a suitable solvent, are produced by a process in which the flexographic printing plates are after-treated with a liquid medium which contains elemental bromine or is capable of forming elemental bromine, and then washed with a neutralization bath, one or more paraffinsulfonates, fatty alcohol ethersulfates or alkyl phosphates or a cationic or anionic surfactant possessing one or more perfluorinated carbon chains being employed in the bromine-containing, liquid medium.The relief printing plates obtained according to the invention are used for flexographic printing.

Abstract: To permit testing of electrical connectors mounted on a strip, a pair of jaws, similarly to substantially transversely extended clothespin jaws, are provided, the inside surface of one (A) of the jaws (A, B) carrying a conductive strip (4) adapted to be engaged by one terminal of elements to be tested, the other terminal of the test elements being connected to a test track (7), for example applied over the conductive strip with an intervening insulating layer; (20) individual components (2) can be tested by foreshortening one terminal pin (5b) of the components and extending electrically conductive fingers, preferably of resistance material (6) for spring-clip engagement (8) with the foreshortened pins. The conductive strip (4) and the track (7) are brought out to external accessible terminal connectors (9). Alternatively, the test track is applied to a support strip (1) on which the elements (2) are located.
