  • Patent number: 4438645
Abstract: A straightener for motor vehicles which includes a bench frame having a pair of spaced longitudinal beams interconnected by cross beams. Mounting plates are appropriately disposed at predetermined intervals along the length of the longitudinal beams with the mounting plates being provided with mounting holes for mounting either cross members or intermediate beams supporting the cross members such that adapters associated with the vehicle mounting points are supported on the cross members. The intermediate beams have a length which is at least essentially equal to a length of the longitudinal beams and are provided with holes corresponding to mounting holes of the mounting plates or cross members, together with additional holes arranged in a grid pattern along the length of the intermediate beams.

  • Patent number: 4366466
Abstract: An arrangement for preventing an unauthorized starting of vehicles which includes a data carrier preferably connected to a key provided for mechanical locks of the motor vehicle and with an evaluating circuit triggering a signal if the correct information is introduced into the arrangement. The data carrier contains at least one of unerasable vehicle-related information or erasable arbitrary information. The evaluating circuit includes at least one read/write unit and a comparison unit wherein the total data of the data carrier are examined and which, in addition to the signal triggered if the information was recognized as correct, passes on the vehicle-related information at least partially to a terminal provided for one of external diagnostic systems or a diagnostic system provided in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4323228
Abstract: A straightener or guide frame for motor vehicles, with the frame including longitudinal support members connected by transverse support members. The longitudinal support members are provided with mounting or attachment holes spaced at given intervals for enabling an attachment of cross support members or intermediate supports which, in turn, carry the cross members. The cross support members are adapted to support adapting elements which are aligned with points of attachment of the motor vehicle. The intermediate support members are provided with holes which correspond to the attachment or mounting holes of the longitudinal support members as well as additional holes arranged to form a grid for enabling an attachment of the cross support members.

  • Patent number: 4036755
Abstract: A filter housing for accommodating at least one filter insert to filter lubricating oil, which is provided in the installed position with a geodetically upper assembly opening for inserting and interchanging the filter insert and with a geodetically lower base; the housing interior space is connected by way of two separate housing channels extending in the base, with one housing connection each for the inlet of dirty oil and for the outlet of clean oil; the housing interior space can also be connected with a housing connection separate from the housing connection for the inlet of dirty oil by way of a drainage connection adapted to be closed off by means of a closure device which can be opened at will.
