  • Patent number: 4972925
Abstract: A progressive distributor, for a central grease and oil lubrication unit, with which lubricant that is supplied under pressure can be delivered to several areas of use. The distributor includes several interconnected individual sections, each of which is provided with a piston as well as lubricant outlets to the areas of use. A pressure reservoir is associated with at least one of the lubricant outlets. When a disruption occurs during operation of the distributor, the pressure reservoir takes up and stores lubricant, and delivers this lubricant to the disrupted area of use at a later point in time.

  • Patent number: 4745990
Abstract: A lubricant injector and apparatus for lubricating especially chain conveyor rollers where bearings; can be refilled with lubricant via a fitting onto which the injector can be pressed. The injector has a housing inlet for receiving lubricant, and an injector tip for placement on the lubricant fitting. A spring-loaded movable piston actuated with compressed air is disposed in the housing, with the injector tip connected to the movable piston. An annular gap communicating with the inlet is provided between the housing and the movable piston having a discharge side, facing the injector tip provided with a coaxially disposed cylindrical chamber. The movable piston has a bore connecting annular gap and the cylindrical chamber.

  • Patent number: 4397376
Abstract: The central lubricating system has a progressive distributor (3) and a pump connected to the pressure connection of the initial segment of the progressive distributor, in particular for the manual feeding of lubricant by a hand pump or a lubricating gun. In order to improve such a central lubricating system so that upon manual or equivalent feeding of the lubricant preselected or adjustable delivery quantities of the progressive distributor are obtained by controlled cycles there is provided a predosaging unit (1) which contains a piston (16) which is arranged in the cylindrical space (12), can be displaced between two end positions and is spring-loaded at one end (spring 19).

  • Patent number: 4393958
Abstract: Of the progressive distributors a first so-called master distributor (9) is connected at one of its outlets by a control line to one of the control chambers of the second progressive distributor, this control chamber not having any direct connection with the feed line. In order that the system may be suitable both for intermittent and for continuous use with preselectable cycles corresponding to the control quantity and in order to avoid undesired multiple cyclings of individual progressive distributors with the result of over-lubrication, further progressive distributors (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are connected, each by a separate control line (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15), to other outlets of the master distributor (9). The corresponding control chamber of the further progressive distributors (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) which are connected in this manner has no direct connection to the feed line (2).

  • Patent number: 4390083
Abstract: The double-conduit central lubricating system has two feed conduits (I, II) which are supplied from a pump via a switch device which operates as a function of pressure difference and via a change-over valve, at least one double-conduit lubricant distributor being connected to said feed conduits. In order to improve such a system in such a manner that even an extremely different requirement for lubricant at individual rubbing points can be satisfied and that, for instance, lubrication requirements of individual friction points of a ratio of 1:100 can be satisfied precisely in a simple manner with a single lubrication cycle, a control chamber (9, 10) of a progressive distributor (11, 12) is connected to an outlet of the double-conduit lubricant distributor (3, 4, 5) via a control conduit (7, 8) the pressure inlet (13) of said progressive distributor in the initial segment being connected with both feed conduits (I, II).

  • Patent number: 4044924
Abstract: An adjustable progressive distributor valve for the intermittent metered distribution of lubricant to a plurality of branch lines by means of several free valve plungers reciprocating inside the main bores of several adjoining valve segments, the effective volume of each metering chamber being adjustable by means of a metering plunger and an adjustable drag connection between the latter and the valve plunger, so that the two plungers act as differential pistons over an adjustable length portion of the fixed valve plunger stroke.

  • Patent number: 3941210
Abstract: An oil mist lubricating system with condenser device, which comprises an oil atomizing device having connected thereto a source of compressed air, in which a duct leading from the atomizing device to a lubricating point has an oil mist condenser device arranged therein which constricts the flow of oil through the duct, the condenser device including an oil permeable packing formed of movable particles effective to condense the atomized oil flowing therethrough.
