Fixing claws are coupled to the closure unit and engages under the pouring edge of the pressure cooking pot, when the closure unit is in the first position.

Abstract: An apparatus for signalling an operating condition of a cooking vessel is provided to signal a user of the cooking vessel when a preset condition is reached in the cooking vessel, e.g. temperature or pressure. Cooking vessels are frequently provided with an operating condition display device, such as a thermometer or a pressure gauge, which have a measurement scale and an indicator element moving relative to the measurement scale to indicate the internal condition of the cooking vessel. The apparatus of the present invention provides a housing having therein a detector for detecting a change in the reflected surface light from the operating condition display device caused by the presence of the indicator element of the display device. When the detector detects the change in the reflected light due to the presence of the indicator element, a signalling device, such as an acoustical or optical signalling device, is activated to signal the user of the cooking vessel.

The actuator device employs at least one flexure spring for imposing a spring force vertically on and in the plane of the heddle frame. Abstract: The invention relates to a steam pressure cooker, which essentially consists of a lower pot and a cover unit sealing the lower pot. The lower pot has a smooth circular pot rim. The cover unit consists of a lower lid and an upper lid. The latter is designed as a sealing element, which engages the lower part of the pot rim by the flanges. As an improvement of this type of pressure cooker, it is proposed that the upper lid contain two half-lids, and that each half-lid be able to rotate about its own axis of rotation essentially parallel to the central axis of the pot (geometrically vertical) relative to the lower lid and lower pot, and further, that the axes of rotation lie eccentric to the pot's central axis and diametrically opposite each other with respect to this axis swivel mechanism rotatably supported concentrically on the lower lid.

Abstract: A pressure cooker has a pan with a circumferential rim and a lid with a closure part rotatable concentrically thereto for locking the lid on the pan part in a pressure tight manner. The lid and closure part have peripheral flanges each engaging under the edge of the pan part over a maximum of half the length thereof. The flanges are movable into one another and are arranged so that the pan rim can be released from the flanges at least over half its circumference.
