    Abstract: A mobile article transporter for transporting items distances on a ground surface that has a set of expandable side panels supported on a corresponding set of rear side frame members to form a set of side walls that are moveable between an expanded position and a compressed position and further contains a collapsible inner support frame associated with the set of rear side frame members to support an at least one storage tray. The at least one storage tray is moveable at one end such that the at least one storage tray is able to sit substantially planarly parallel to a rear wall when in said folded position. The mobile article transporter may optionally be provided with a top cover that is retractable located above the at least one storage tray that provides a top shield to protect the items in an upper internal area of the mobile article transporter.
